• Nemea - Modern Nemea proudly carries 3,500 years of winemaking history. For wine enthusiasts, this region is an ideal destination. With numerous wineries and cultural sites to explore, the area is perfect for discovery. We will visit three renowned wineries to taste and learn about their products. Each winery visit can last 60 minutes, but we are flexible. Between winery visits, we can optionally explore the Archaeological site of Ancient Nemea (featuring the unique Zeus temple and the stadium).

• Ancient Nemea - OPTIONAL/ While the region is celebrated for its wine, it is also renowned for its remarkable cultural sites, including Ancient Nemea, a must-see. This expansive archaeological site includes the Sanctuary of Zeus and the stadium where the Nemean Games were held in honor of the ancient Greek god. The recently discovered stadium is notable for its well-preserved vaulted entrance tunnel, dating to around 320 BC, with ancient graffiti on the walls. Legend has it that Hercules defeated the Nemean lion here.

• Monastery of the Dormition Rock Nemea - Recently renovated, this beautiful historical and religious monument is a treasure for humanity. The Monastery is located at the entrance of Nemea. • Argos - Argos, a city in Argolis, Peloponnese, Greece, is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. It is the largest city in Argolis and a major center for the region. We will visit another popular winery.

Your winery tour begins from your location (Athens, Piraeus, or Nafplion). Drive via the Corinth Canal (with a short stop) to Peloponnese.

Our winery tour in Greece includes visits to up to 3 different wineries. We explore their cellars and learn about their varieties. We taste their wines, and if you wish, you can purchase their products at half the market price. In between, we visit Ancient Nemea (a unique ancient site). You will visit the Temple of Zeus, the Museum, and the Stadium, as well as the unique Monastery/Fort of Dormitory Rock in modern Nemea, which offers panoramic views of the vineyards.

Continue to Nemea for an optional lunch at one of the most traditional Greek restaurants, featuring authentic Greek cuisine.

• We will visit 3 wineries. Your tour is private, flexible & available from Athens or Piraeus. However we only request to have in mind the agreement hours. But if you like to extend it, please make a fair arrangement with your tour driver/ leader. Additional charge per hour is 30€ (Sedan) - 45€ (Minivan) - 60€ (Minibus).
