• Corinth Canal - The driver will pick you up from your hotel at 08:30 to begin the journey to Ancient Olympia, traveling via the highway through the Peloponnese. After approximately an hour, there will be a brief stop at the Corinth Canal for a rest and photo opportunity. The canal’s iron bridge was the sole road access to the Peloponnese until the Rio-Antirrio bridge was inaugurated in 2004. Today, medium-sized cruisers and smaller vessels still navigate the narrow canal, reducing their travel time between the Aegean and Ionian Seas.
• Archaeological Site of Olympia - Continuing along the highway to Patras, a significant commercial and passenger port in Greece, the tour arrives at the village of Olympia, a renowned sacred site of Ancient Greece and the origin of the Olympic Games, which commenced in 776 B.C.
