• Corinth Canal - The driver will pick you up from your hotel at 08:00 hrs, and head towards Mystras via the highway to Peloponnese. After approximately an hour’s drive, the journey will reach the Corinth Canal, where there will be a brief stop for rest and photo opportunities. The canal’s iron bridge was the sole road access to Peloponnese until the new Rio-Antirrio bridge, located about an hour and a half to the east, opened in August 2004. Mid-sized cruisers and smaller vessels still navigate the narrow canal to travel between the Aegean Sea and the Ionian Sea, significantly shortening their voyages.
