• Contrada Colamaio, 1 - Join us for an evening walk with alpacas from 19:00 to 20:00 at the renowned Costa Degli Dei in Pizzo VV. You’ll learn to communicate with your alpaca, take selfies, and enjoy photo shoots and small videos. The scenic coastline of Pizzo, with views of the Stromboli Volcano on clear days, serves as a stunning backdrop. Watch the alpacas cool off in the sea. Please wear appropriate footwear for the beach and possibly the water. This experience is open to anyone capable of walking along the beach, but handling an alpaca is required, so it’s not recommended for those with a fear of alpacas. Accessible walks can be arranged with prior booking.

Calabrian Alpacas proudly hosts the only alpacas in Calabria. These alpacas are nurtured on a quaint farm where they are well-socialized and accustomed to human interaction. As a result, they are curious and gentle, especially around children. The scenic walks take place in a mature pine forest that opens up to the beach at Colomaio 1, with the picturesque backdrop of Pizzo town. The mountainous scenery is breathtaking, particularly at sunset. During the walk, participants will have the opportunity to bond with an alpaca, capturing interactive videos and selfies on the beach. This memorable experience can be shared with family and friends back home.
