Best experience - I had an amazing time learning from Paola! We made two types of pasta—Tortelloni and Tagliatelle—completely from scratch, along with the most delicious tiramisu using her 80-year-old family recipe. The experience was fun, hands-on, and truly unforgettable. Paola is an incredible host who makes you feel right at home, and the wine tasting added such a special touch. If you’re in Bologna, this is a must-do!

Casual and Nice Cooking Class - Very casual atmosphere. More watching than cooking. When asked about cooking class he said it would be 8-10 ppl and it turned out being 12. He said his wife was a sommelier and we'd have select organic wines...there was only one type of red, merlot and one type of white. We helped make the pasta but it turned out hard and he mixed two different types of pasta with one red sauce. My kids left hungry. We did not get to help make the tiramisu..he chose one person to make them all. Not what we thought it would be. Really wish it was since I was really looking forward to all of us enjoying a great cooking class.

Some positives and Improvements needed for this Experience - The experience is very interesting, we learned a lot but were more watching than cooking. We were a family of 5 supposed to have a private course and found out that we actually joined another group of 4. On the positives, you can learn how to make pasta and Tiramisu, the chef is very welcoming and knowledgeable. On the improvements: The experience is in a small kitchen with one Pasta making machine and one wooden board for everyone, so you will relay on making pastas. The more you are the less you will handle/cook. Something to note; The experience is technically about 2hours including lunch. I rated 3 stars as the chef means well but the experience wasn’t good value for money. Specially when you compare it with other activities in the area.

DO NOT BOOK! FRAUDULENT! - One piece of advice! DO NOT book! We were in Bologna for a few days with some colleagues and had booked a tour with him. The night before we had the appointment he told us he was ill and unfortunately had to cancel. He would pay back the transferred costs. You understand: he never did this. When we talked to him about this, he called everyone names and that he couldn't lose sleep over it. DO NOT BOOK! FRAUDULENT!

We phoned...he said we were at the wrong address....he said it was in the same street..yet offered no guidance.......I said you are a liar.....he sent a photo of those who he alleged were there.....it was a website photo and how could you all be ready to fill ravioli parcels at 10.39....class starts at 10.30.
