Highlight of our trip! - This pasta making class was great fun for both my 11-year old son and myself. It was highly personalised - we were just the two of us! The host was charming, the chef was enthusiastic and we actually learned new skills - a perfect recipe for great bonding time. Plus we got to eat delicious food!

Great meal, great time! - Our entire family (parents, teens, grandparents) absolutely LOVED this class. Our host first gave us a quick neighborhood tour. Then we arrived a the restaurant, and had so much fun preparing our meal. Making pasta by hand from scratch was easier and more fun that I would have ever imagined. We took our pasta to the kitchen, and prepared the entire meal. Topped off with som great wine! +

Olivia is the best. - Olivia was a perfect host. We feel very lucky to have received such a warm & authentic lesson from a hilarious / kind chef here at La Taverna Del Ghetto. The history lesson was awesome & made us appreciate what we made / were served.

The best cooking class in Rome - My cooking class with Gourmetaly in Rome was, hands down, the best culinary experience I've ever had! GABRIELE (the chef) shared not only his passion for Italian cuisine but also invaluable tips and techniques that transformed our dishes from ordinary to extraordinary. The class was intimate, ensuring that each participant received personalized attention and guidance throughout the entire process.

The best cooking class in the world! - This was the best experience I’ve ever had! Our translator made us feel very comfortable and informed. I cant recommend this enough, it’s hard to pick a favorite moment - from learning to make pasta, to cooking right next to the chef, to eating the best meal EVER! We got lucky and were the only people in our group to show up so it was very enjoyable, basically like a private cooking lesson in Rome. The class was about 2-3 hours long including the prepping, cooking, and eating. If you’re on the fence about booking this, you know what they say “when in Rome” haha DO IT!

A memorable experience! So much fun! - We had so much fun! This pasta making class kicked off our travels across Italy setting the tone for the entire trip. Typically there are 8 students in a class; my friend and I were the only 2 students in this particular class. It was exceptional! Silvia was a wonderful guide -- knowledgeable about the history of the area and with a refreshing sense of humour. Chef was very passionate teaching us how to make pasta and the various pasta dishes [cacio e pepe and amatriciana], spoiling us for any other... and there's a lot of pasta to be had in Italy! The food, the wine, the desserts -- excellent -- and Massimo, La Taverna del Ghetto, a most gracious host. They were so welcoming making for an memorable experience, one not to be missed. I highly recommend.

Fantastic tour and class! - Clelia gave us a great little tour of the Jewish Ghetto, then was Master of Ceremonies at our cooking class. She was so so good. On top of that, the cooking class was amazing. Chef was a greta guy. We made a delicious meal, and had a ton of fun. Highlight of the trip.

Best class ever - What an incredible experience! Lily was knowledgeable and personable, the tour before the cooking class was fun and informative. The cooking class was amazing! The chef and Lily worked together to teach us the basics of pasta making, then we were able to go into the kitchen with the chef and learn the nuances of sauce making. A full meal of our fresh pasta and hand made zucchini blossoms followed, as well as a selection of delicious desserts.
