A great experience - We were 2 couples- one English, one French as part of a mixed group of 11. We all loved the pasta making and lunch. Maria and Fabio were really good teachers and helped all of us make edible orrchiette. There is a definite technique but with their help we all mastered it to a greater or lesser extent. Whilst the orchiette were resting we learnt how to make a delicious fresh tomato sauce. We then had lunch all together, eating the pasta we had made as well as some delicious starters including charcuterie and mozzarella with bruschetta. The masseria where the course was held was delightful and very authentic. We all thought the course was a lot of fun and excellent value for money.

A delightful experience with a lovely lunch - A really lovely experience in a beautiful setting. Very well run. Making the pasta was relaxing even if it was tricky. And they serve a lovely lunch with wine afterward. Perfect length as well.

Fun morning pasta making - We really enjoyed the pasta making. The hosts (Francesco, Fabio & Maria) were friendly & fun. They explained the technique well & had great patience with our attempts. The setting is beautiful & peacful & Fabio gave an interesting history about the Masseria. Lunch was delicious & we were able to sit & relax & enjoy our time with the other guests. We also got to pick & eat prickly pears. A great experience. Thanks to everyone invovled.

Fabulous experience making pasta - We had a great few hours learning how to mix, knead and shape the pasta. There was lots of help where needed. We were shown how to make a simple tomato sauce to go with the pasta using just a few ingredients. Later, we had lunch, which included some local produce to start and the pasta we had prepared. It was all delicious! Francesco and his team were extremely welcoming, and I would definitely recommend this experience.

A fun and educational morning - with wonderful food to end the tour - This was a great experience. The staff were really helpful and made making the orechiette fun! The masseria is beautiful and I really enjoyed the tour. Perfect group size (16 I think), with guests from a number of different countries. The instructions were in both Italian and English. Lunch was fabulous. I hadn't expected antipasti as well as the pasta we made - and it was finished off with lovely biscotti Cegliese. Plentiful wine and water. Excellent value for money. I would recommend highly.

Workshop Orichietti plus delicious lunch - Nice location in the courtyard of a masseria near Ostuni. A total of 30 people participated in the workshop, very learned company. It took over 3 hours. And consisted of making pasta dough and the technique to make orichietti from it. Good guidance, in Italian and little English. Then these were served for lunch with a delicious tomato sauce. Plus sausage, burrata, focaccia, water, wine. Very successful!

Learn how to make orechiettes in a Masseria - We were about 12 people taking the class. It started by a very quick tour of the propriety, a very nice masseria. Then they explained how to make orechiette, which is not very complex on paper, but requires quite some practice! Maria gave a lot of explanations… in Italian… Other people from the Masseria spoke English but were not always there. So in the beginning we felt a bit left aside, although it was fun trying to understand Maria’s guidance by gesture. Then they explained how to make the tomato sauce… and we had some free time until lunch, which was also completed with starters and local wine. Delicious! The group opened up and we started chatting with one another, so in the end it was a very nice activity.
To make it 5 stars, I would recommend the owners to give more explanations in English, not just about orechiettes but more all-round facts about local culture, their Masseria etc. And to help the group ‘break the ice’ faster by supporting introductions and conversation starters.
