Authentic Etna Wine & Food Experience in a Sicilian Home - This was handsdown one of the most authentic experiences we had in Sicily. If you want something beyond the typical tourist route, this is absolutely worth it! From the moment we arrived at the charming Sicilian home just outside Taormina, we felt like welcome guests. The warmth and hospitality of our hosts really set the tone. The food was outstanding: homemade specialties like antipasti, fresh pasta, local cheeses, cured meats, and seasonal vegetables, all of it bursting with flavour. Each dish felt like it was made from the heart. Then came the Etna wine tasting. Our host explained the unique volcanic soil, grape varieties like Nerello Mascalese, and the passion that goes into each bottle. We sampled several wines, and every one had its own character and story. What made the afternoon unforgettable was the combination of great food, wine, and conversation. We felt like friends, not tourists. We learned more about Sicilian life, traditions, and pride in their cuisine than I’ve ever learned anywhere else. Highly recommend this experience for anyone who wants real, heartfelt Sicilian food and wine, served in a genuine family-home setting. A true highlight of our trip! Thank you Angela and family

A taste of real Sicily warm, genuine, unforgettable - The tasting experience at Angela’s home was one of the most authentic and heartfelt moments of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family the warmth, the hospitality, and the love they put into everything was simply moving. The wines were excellent and beautifully paired with homemade traditional dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients many from their own land. Every bite had a story behind it, and Angela guided us through each one with such grace and passion. This wasn’t just a tasting, it was a real connection to a family, to a culture, and to the essence of Sicily. Thank you Angela, we’ll definitely be back.

The True Soul of Sicily in a Warm, Authentic Home - An unforgettable experience in a warm and welcoming home, where every detail tells the story of real Sicily. Angela welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like old friends. The tasting was a journey through the flavors of Mount Etna: excellent organic wines, fragrant olive oil, and traditional dishes made with fresh ingredients from their own land. Each tasting came with stories, history, and genuine passion. This is more than just a tasting – it’s a cultural and personal experience that stays with you. Highly recommended for those seeking authenticity, simplicity, and the true heart of Sicily.

A truly authentic journey into the heart of Sicily - An unforgettable experience! The wine tasting at Angela’s home goes far beyond expectations. The warm, family-style setting instantly makes you feel welcome, while allowing you to explore the most authentic flavors of Mount Etna. The dishes, made with organic ingredients from her family’s countryside, are truly delicious, real gems of traditional Sicilian cooking. Each course is paired with four outstanding Etna wines, among the finest from the region, presented with passion and expertise. Every pairing is carefully curated to enhance the flavors and deliver a truly special experience. The location is peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, the perfect place to unwind. Angela is an extraordinary host: warm, thoughtful, and passionate about her land. The service was flawless: upon request, they picked us up directly from our hotel (we stayed at Atlantis Bay) and the timing was perfect. The return transfer was equally smooth. Everything was arranged with care and professionalism. A genuine immersion into the true soul of Sicily. Highly recommended!

amazing tasting - An Authentic Sicilian Experience – Unforgettable in Every Way What we experienced wasn’t just a tasting—it was an emotional journey into the heart of true Sicily. Our day began with a scenic tour of the Bay and Port of Naxos, a truly special moment that allowed us to discover stunning corners of the coastline, rich in history and natural beauty. The transfer service to and from the hotel was another highlight—comfortable, punctual, and absolutely flawless. Once we arrived at the villa, reserved exclusively for us, we were welcomed like family. The intimate setting and privacy of the location allowed us to fully relax and immerse ourselves in the flavors and stories of a real Sicilian home. We chose the seafood menu, and every dish was a delight—prepared with organic ingredients, following family recipes passed down through generations. Everything was paired with fragrant, high-quality extra virgin olive oils and outstanding wines from the historic Campo Re winery on Mount Etna—the same estate that once supplied wine to King Vittorio Emanuele II of Savoy. Angela and her family welcomed us with heartfelt warmth, sharing traditions, flavors, and memories with a passion that’s hard to put into words. The experience ended with a live cooking show, a revisited Sicilian dessert, and homemade limoncello cream—an unforgettable finale. This was a truly personal and authentic experience, far from tourist clichés and crowded places. A day we’ll always carry in our hearts. Thank you, Angela and family, for giving us a true taste of Sicily.

Amazing evening with Angela and her family - My wife and I visited Angela for a fabulous evening of local Sicilian food and drink. Everything was superb including the transfer from her husband who collected us and took us back to taormina. We stopped for great photo opportunities on the way. All the food and drink provided were perfect. Angela also catered for our dietary needs. My wife doesn't eat meat. Best of all was the welcome and hospitality of the whole family. We had a wonderful time and were treated so well. Thank you Angela and family! Enjoy your holiday in Tenerife. Kind regards Richard and Tracey

The Best Sicily has to offer in every mouthful - The Best Sicily has to offer in every mouthful. We have just returned from 3 wonderful gourmet filled hours of the best food and wine Sicily has to offer, all at the beautiful family home of the very warm and hugely talented Angela . She collected us right on time from our hotel in her spacious air conditioned car and drove us with great care and comfort to and from her home for the homemade feast she ,her charming son Tano and Nonna had lovingly prepared for us . It must have taken them days to prepare all the delicacies they presented us with! Sometimes pictures speak louder than words, so we have posted some of what we enjoyed . We were first offered 2 wines chosen from one of Sicily’s finest vineyards on Etna. We also had one of the family’s lovely homemade reds from their own vineyard and finished with nonna’s superb homemade limoncello crèam liqueur, smooth and not too sweet , very moreish !! Food wise , well , by the end we were begging them to stop feeding us , such was their incredible generosity! We started with an exceptional selection of breads and antipasti, which included honey from the black bees on Etna to go with the best pecorino I ever tasted . Also a homemade peach compote to accompany the other cheeses, salamis , mortadella etc … a whole range of different olives , preserved mushrooms and onions, a homemade olive oil from the family’s farm and one from another private grove . Tano, Angela’s lovely son, made a delicious green bean and potato salad to accompany everything and was a wonderful host along with his mum . They then arrived with a plate of picture perfect bruschettas, one topped with sundried tomatoes and burrata, the other with finely diced pecorino . This was then followed by a plate of arancini , delicate zucchini rolls and an amazing fried cheese … just exceptional all of it . Just when we thought that was the end, they brought out a hot course of pasta Norma sprinkled with their own slow dried ricotta … all utterly superb. We finally finished with Nonna ‘s deconstructed cannoli which she baked herself , so it had only the best , freshest Sicilian ingredients . It was by far the best we have had in Sicily. In fact , every mouthful we had was hands down the best Sicily has to offer , made and presented with so much love and generosity from the loveliest family you could hope to meet, all in the most stylish and beautifully designed modern Sicilian home . This is a truly unique experience to visit and enjoy the incredible hospitality of a true Sicilian family . There are I don’t think any other tours that offer this and we would choose it again and again over other tourist experiences. The only regret I had was not being able to buy from Angela any of the food or drink we were served ,such as the wines , the honey , the peach preserve , the olive oils etc … but she was very generous with the information on where we could source everything ourselves and said with time they might sell a few of the items themselves. Thank you Angela , Tano and Nonna for all your delicious hard work and lovely company . 5 BIG STARS in every respect ! (Please note this experience is designed for a minimum of 4 people , which is stated on the website , so if there are only 2 of you who sign up , be prepared to pay an additional supplement for the experience as SO much work goes into making this happen to such a high standard. We thoroughly felt it was worth every penny !) ❤️

Unique top quality experience! - Angela gave us a superb tour and put a lot of work into giving us a great variety of Sicilian food and wine. Every part of the meal was top quality. We enjoyed meeting three generations of her family and being entertained in her beautiful home. She is a very generous host and this was the highlight of our Taormina stay. Highly recommended!

Outstanding - This tasting was exquisite. Angela and her wonderful family prepared the most delicious snacks. No one at the table expected to see such a variety of wines, breads, cheeses, olives, olive oils, meats, honey, limoncello and a dessert. A person gets enough to be considered a meal. I met such wonderful people at the tasting table. This is a must if in the area of Taormina.
