Our tours commence at our shop/garage, where e-bikes and itineraries are provided, followed by a route explanation. One of our suggested itineraries traverses the southern hills of Lucca, along the scenic path of the historic monumental aqueduct, tracing the water’s journey. After collecting the bicycles, the journey begins with a leisurely ride towards the quaint valley of Guamo, heading to the natural park known locally as “The Golden Words,” where Lucca’s valuable oligomineral water flows. Cyclists will enjoy the lush countryside at the base of Monte Pisano, featuring agricultural buildings and village churches. During the tour, a picnic lunch can be arranged at our partner winery, offering local cheeses, charcuterie, and wine to be enjoyed under the olive groves overlooking the vineyards (please book in advance, vegan and vegetarian options available). After a brief pause, the tour continues by exploring the surrounding area, with pleasant and relaxed back roads framed by the picturesque landscapes of this rural region. On the return to the shop, participants will absorb more of the area’s natural beauty before finally arriving back at the shop, pleasantly tired but delighted from a day of exploring the unexplored!
