  Cala Rossa’s history is rich with memory and meaning, named after the naval battles between the Romans and Carthaginians during the First Punic War, around 241 B.C. The waters of this cove turned red from the blood shed in those conflicts. Besides its historical significance, this area was once a site for limestone mining, and the ancient tuff quarries still leave visible marks on the landscape, adding an extra layer of charm and mystery.

• Visit to the caves of Favignana with fishermen’s boats - Continue the exploration by reaching the Grotta degli Innamorati, an enchanting place that captures the romantic essence of Favignana. This sea cave is famous for its crystal-clear waters, ranging from shades of blue to emerald green, creating a magical and surreal environment. The evocative name comes from the rock formations inside the cave, which, from a certain angle, resemble two lovers embracing, a natural symbol that has inspired numerous local legends.

• Isola di Favignana - Lunch on board:

Once docked at the port of Favignana, lunch will be served on our boat, comfortably moored.

For lunch on board, enjoy two typical pasta dishes from maritime regions: pasta with Trapani pesto, made with almonds, tomatoes, typical Trapani extra virgin olive oil, and the distinctive red garlic from Nubia, renowned worldwide for its intense and characteristic flavor; and pasta with pesto alla genovese, a specialty with a delicate and creamy flavor, made with fresh basil, pine nuts, extra virgin olive oil, and cheese.

Afterwards, savor the traditional bread cunzato, a timeless classic of Sicilian cuisine, along with fresh seasonal fruit.

All this is accompanied by Coke, Coke Zero, orange juice, peach or lemon tea, house wine, and still or sparkling water. A simple yet delicious lunch, to be enjoyed with a sea view and the sea breeze.

• Spiaggia Di Cala Dogana - Our maritime adventure takes us to Cala Dogana, the main port of Levanzo. This picturesque bay is the heart of the island, where the deep blue sea blends with the bright white houses of the small village. As the boat approaches, enjoy the view of sailboats and fishermen at work, witnessing the daily life of this charming place. Cala Dogana is a perfect example of tranquility and natural beauty, inviting relaxation and the serene atmosphere of Levanzo.

• Cala Fredda - Continuing the exploration, head towards Cala Fredda, one of Levanzo’s hidden gems. This small and cozy beach is nestled among limestone cliffs and offers an atmosphere of peace and isolation.
