“Ischia and its six gems” - Dear Paolo and Antonio
We just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful job you both did as our tour guides for our visit to the amazing Ischia Island on October 7, 2025. Stay at Miramare & Castello hotel. Ischia - Very good hotel located very close to the Aragonese Castle and surrounded by many restaurants. It has a private beach and spa, or you can use the spa with hot spring pool at a partner hotel located 100 metres away. The room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is very complete and varied. The attention of the staff is especially careful from the front desk where they help with the various excursions that can be done on the island

A Perfect Day in Ischia! - Our tour with local guide Paolo and driver Antonio was absolutely fantastic. It was the perfect day exploring this amazing island, sampling delicious local cuisine, and discovering hidden gems that we never would have found on our own. We can't recommend this tour and Ischia highly enough!

Perfect Ischia day - We had the perfect day in Ischia with Carla! Everything was well-organized and smooth, from the pickup at our accommodation to the communication before the tour (they helped us fix a double booking without extra charges), and the comfortable private car on the island. It was the perfect way to discover Ischia through the eyes of a true local guide.

Must do private tour of Ischia - My husband and I couldn’t have spent a better day on our first trip to Ischia. Our guide Carla was so knowledgeable and a sweetheart. She gave us a full tour of the island complete with the history and local favorite foods and the best orange juice we have ever tasted! We stopped several times for the most beautiful views for photos and to explore a few of the towns by foot. With such a thorough overview of the island we felt prepared to explore on our own in the days to follow. Our driver was courteous and drove us safely through crowded and narrow streets to take us to the best spots. I highly recommend this full day tour to learn the rich and interesting history of this beautiful island.

Heavenly bliss - Having read a lot of comments about Ischia on sites like TripAdvisor, we weren’t sure what to expect when we came to the island. This tour gave us the perfect overview to know that there is so much to see and do we will have to come back. If you on,y stay in the Port, you will miss so much of what the island has to offer. But if you try to explore on your own, it could be a harrowing experience. With the expert guidance from both guide Paolo and driver Antonio, we were able to go to all of the island towns in one day, learn about their special place on the island as well as a lovely lunch at a local restaurant. Great way to start our relationship with the island and all it has to offer! Looking forward to returning!

Expensive tour ruined by insufficient air conditioning - Our tour guide Carla was wonderful but the air conditioning in the car was not working well. We had no relief from the heat. We really couldn’t enjoy the tour because we were so miserable. For the price we paid for this private tour, the air conditioning should work!

It was absolutely a horrible experience! - Paolo was the tour guide. I went with a girlfriend and we spent a lot of money, nearly $500 for this experience. He spent all of his time paying attention to her and ignored me. I felt like a third wheel on a date. They went off on their own together leaving me alone. Sat next to each other at lunch and were touched by and acting like they were on a date. He offered to be her private tour guide should she return to the island. Only ordered food that she wanted. Stopped at a market around the corner from where he live and escorted her around like they were a couple. It was the worst experience ever! Yes my girlfriend had accountability but he should have been a professional not to mention he was easily 25-30 years her senior. Worst experience and I reached out to the travel company they could only do a small reimbursement because they had paid all of their people already. The tour is not what it is advertised!!!!!!
