We had a wonderful Tour... - We had a wonderful Tour with Gabriele. We visited beautiful churches and ended at St. Peter's Basilica. Please just be aware there will be a lot of Walking so wear good footwear. We'd recommend this tour!

Great experience🤩 - The amazing Ludo was guiding us thru the churches, bus and metro. He even could speak norwegian🤩 he was informative about the places we went and answered all our questions. Absolutely loved this journey. The only thing i could point the finger on is that when we came to the st. Peters church we had to stand in the looong line to get in instead of going thru the online tickets que, the tickets were not skip the line at this particular venue.

Not the smoothest but good in a pinch - Excessive walking between churches 2 and 3, and the anticlimactic dropoff / end of the tour at the entrance to the Vatican left a bad taste in my mouth. I would have just Ubered/taxi from the 3rd church for lunch instead of doing even mooooreee walking, had that been clear.
Putting the St Peter's basilica on the itinerary of this guided tour is like walking past a glass of water with grapes in your hand and now calling the water "wine". I think with a little bit better marketing and some streamlined private transportation options (for extra money), this would be a much better experience. Our tour guide was wonderful and informative nonetheless 😁

Awful company - What I will say is I spoke to your guide as told I explained the taxi I was in was going to be only 7 mins late due to heavy traffic I paid €86 for this and I’m treated like this quicker to take my money i would not recommend this to anyone feel really let down the operator didn’t care in my opinion this company stole my money with no offer of any refund

No go - The confirmed and paid booking was cancelled. I was told that an alternative date could be arranged. When I asked whether the next day would be possible, I received the reply that it would be. However, despite my request for confirmation, I never received an email, message, or any further communication.
When I contacted Viator’s support, I was told I couldn’t cancel the booking retroactively. Only after several back-and-forth messages did it become clear that the organizer had in fact cancelled the event. I was then told the organizer could not be reached by phone and that it would take 2–3 days to process the refund.
In the meantime, I booked a new date for the next day. Afterwards, the organizer informed me that this hadn’t been necessary and that they would cancel the original booking for payment reasons.
In the end, I showed up at the agreed meeting point on the next day—and no one was there. I couldn’t reach the organizer by phone or WhatsApp. Nothing happened.
I cannot recommend booking the Holy Path tour with this organizer.

Terrible - Changed the meeting spot and meeting time the night before the tour. We arrived 5 minutes before the start of the tour but no one was at the meeting spot. After walking around trying to find the guide from Italian Holidays and contacting Viator. The guide contacted me pinning her location which was the meeting spot. It took us 5 minutes to get to the spot and no one was there except for another couple looking for the same guide and same tour. They too were at the meeting spot well before the tour and no one was there! Terrible tour company. I am still waiting to hear if I will be refunded. I would recommend trying the actual tour but not with Italian Holidays.

Tour cancelled without any notice. Do not book!!! - please do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK this tour. I’ve read multiple reviews that their tour was cancelled so I reached out to make sure. I was informed by Vittoria that the cancellations previously were due to the conclave. The night before the tour, Vittoria notified me of the time change (from 8am to 9:30am) and pick up location (from Vatican to St Paul). I was communicating with him/her until 11:30pm the night before. The next day (may 27), on our way to the pick up point, I saw that my tour payment was refunded. I tried calling multiple times and got no reply. Extremely disappointed! First time ever that I booked with Viator and tour was cancelled last minute without any explanation. Please, please, please, BOOK ELSEWHERE!

Terrible Experience - I was so disappointed in this tour. Please contact me . Transportation was included and the transportation was the Metro. My Mother is 84 years old very difficult to walk this should be identified for people. Then the tour guide suggested I take a cab to the last Holy Door the Vatican would meet me at The Angelica spot and never showed up. I called many times then that evening she said her phone had died.
This was not like previous Viator Tours and I should be refunded.

Terrible Tour - Please do not book this tour with Vittoria as a guide.
She was late to arrive and did not meet at the designated meeting point. My group arrived early at the first Basilica of St. Paul and went through metal detectors then had to wait in front of the basilica while many people were gathering. I texted Vittoria several times through WhatsApp and finally got an answer that she was carrying a silver umbrella. I walked back to the side of the church to look for her. She gave me four listening devices and said to meet her in front. I had to go through security again. She had to check her umbrella so we never saw her pass through the gate. It's crazy that she didn't have a flag like the other tours to identify her.
Needless to say we waited outside and missed the entire Holy Doors of St. Paul. Luckily I spotted her on her way out or we would have missed the entire tour altogether. She was very nonchalant and didn't care that we were not with her even after she gave me the devices. To make matters worse, we traveled by metro and foot to the other basilicas without notification and several members had to dropout due to the strenuous walking and transportation situation. Vittoria got on the train ahead of the group without any regard for older group members and we had to fend for ourselves during a very hectic and crowded train ride. I never had a Viator experience like this.
There was no information on basilicas at all. She didn't even come inside. Please save your money and do the Holy Doors on your own. It is illegal to charge an entry fee to the Holy Doors. Do it yourself.
