A must do!! - The Lake Como cruise and Bernina train ride was such a joy and major highlight. St Moritz was also beautiful town. A must do when in Milan. Also very important to respect the tour guide’s times at each destination.

Don’t just shop in Milan, do this tour! - A lot of mixed reviews here and I want to clear up some of the misconceptions here. Firstly I would highly recommend this tour if you are in Milan during winter and are short for time - the tour has a lot to unpack with the Lake Como cruise and riding the red Bernina train - all fantastic once in a lifetime experiences. We went with a big contingent - two groups largely Spanish and English speaking and the guide did a great job communicating in these 2 languages with the sights and stories she was able to share. Yes the journey is fairly long - so if you are hoping to have a long free and easy time at each destination, then you’re going to need to more than a day and this tour would probably not suit you. I liked that we went to Lake Como during the off peak season so we didn’t have to wrestle with the crowds and could take nice photos. The major highlight was the 2 hour Bernina train ride from Tirano to St Moritz as the scenes of the snow capped mountains and towns we went past were breathtaking. It’s quite amazing with the railway infrastructure that’s been built at 2000m high. We had 1.5 hours to explore St Moritz which I felt was sufficient - I have to say the Swiss life ain’t cheap given the finer things they have at their disposal. Loved the town nonetheless - very fairy tale like. Lastly, as with any tour, you have to RESPECT the times given by your guide (perhaps it should have been highlighted a bit more), hence I’m not surprised that people get left behind and I suspect it may have happened more than once. Oh and also, the Bernina train ticket has a 24 hour expiry date, so you may even elect to stay a night at St Moritz and make your own way back to Italy but be sure to let your guide know about this. Thumbs up to the driver too who aced the journey throughout. Overall, I’d still highly rate this tour as the scenery spectacle were really mesmerising.

Beautiful but rushed - The scenery was absolutely amazing and is a must, the train was just lovely. The timing of the tour felt quite rushed. The bus was about 20 minutes late at the start of the day which put off everything else, and we had no time to stop at the first place with only time to rush into a cafe to go to the toilet being told to be back a specific time but not actually leaving untill 15 minutes later where we didn’t need to rush. The day was absolutely beautiful but I think some work needs to be done with the timing of places.

Great day - I wanted to see Lake Como and ride the Bernina Express, and with my limited time, this allowed me to do both. The cruise in Lake Como was great. I didn't do the St Moritz walking tour with the group. I just grabbed a sandwich and strolled around on my own. The Bernina Express really is a brilliant train journey. I'm not sure having opening windows is better than the other carriages with the big windows as they dont open the whole way, so you sort of have to stand up to take photos.

Somehow disappointed - My tour was run for Autostradale Viaggi, June 8th, and two issues happened. The tour in Lago Como was only 35 minutes, not 1 hour. The listing says 1-hour Lake Como cruise by private boat. I asked the guide when we finished the boat ride, and she said that the tour was always 30 or 35' only. So if she is right, you should correct the listing I would've booked anyway, but I don't like when they don't state the truth. It was a sunny and beautiful day to enjoy 25 more minutes. I would like an answer from the Company about this! I was on time early in the morning, making the line to get into the bus, when I showed my ticket to the Tour guide, she said that I was not in her bus, she told me to wait for my bus there. I asked her a second time because time was passing, I showed again my ticket, the time matched, the Company name and she said I was not in her bus. I started running around the block asking another guides, everybody trying to help, it was already the departure time, i got nervous, when I got a call from the company's office that my bus was about to leave, I could've missed my tour because the Tour guide didn't care about checking well, when I went back to the bus she called my name and yelled at my saying that I was supposed to look for my name in her list. She didn't say that when I asked twice and I was not supposed to do her job! The spectacular views from the Train made me forget all the hustle, and I could enjoy my day.

The guide was very bad.... - The guide was very bad. I chose Spanish, but he was bilingual, but he gave all the information in English and when the time for Spanish came, he spoke little and inside, almost unheard. He did not explain things right, nor informed about where there were bathrooms for the travellers. It was a trip with a lot of people (should be a smaller group). He didn't have time for almost anything. Only worth it because the place is beautiful.

Quite disappointed by tour organizer - We booked on "Get your guide" the tour "Como lake - Saint-Moritz - Bernina train" organized by Autostradale viaggi We went on Thursday 29th December 2022 My comment was not accepted by the get your guide website (it seems that they do not accept negative reviews, but only good ones) so that why i am publishing it here. I was expecting more from this tour … I think that time is short to see in one same day Como Lake, St Moritz and Bernina Train … especially in winter time when Sun goes down quite early in mountain (16h45) The tour itself is not well designed : There were no clear time table that was given of the tour, until last moment we wasn’t sure if we head to Tirano or to St Moritz after the Lake information given by the tour guide was not clear and confusing, her microphone was noisy and her speech wasn’t as clear as it has to be. We started at 7h in front of Scala Theatre Milano, we stopped in Train Station Centrale to hop on other clients of the tour. The coach make another stop at 08h30 in a gas station on the highway to Lecco, to make everyone takes coffee and quick breakfast, that was completely useless and time wasting since the gas station cafeteria could not handle 50 clients at the same time. We reached Varenna at 9h30 and started the tour in Boat, it lasted 40mn nearly and then went for a walk in Varenna for 20mn. It would be better to get the coffee there in front of the lake and not in the gas station, there were sevral coffee and beautiful bars where to stay, the time we spent in the gas station would be better in the lake instead. The road from Varenna to St-Moritz is very beautiful, magnificient landscapes to see there. Once In Saint-Moritz at 13h10 we discover that we have only 1h20 there cause the train starts at 14h30 … where to get lunch ? what to choose : discover village or get lunch ? The guide took us to the center of the village to a crowded restaurant with a very long queue, in which you need more than 30mn to get a table, it is clear that time will not be enough. There were no other solutions to get lunch other restaurants was very expensive (so better take its own food with you, sandwiches, from the beginning). At the end, we lost time looking where to get lunch, for no results, and could not see the village. The tour company clearly could manage this in a better way. The Bernina train started around 14h45, the wagon allowed to us was no panoramic-roof, instead of the front wagon of the train, so it is less pratical to take pictures of landscape. Landscapes are gorgeous here too, but we reached the most famous spot of the bernina tour (the bridge loop) with very few sunlight and could not appreciate as well as in day time. After we get off the train at 17h15, the tour guide moved very quickly to the coach and lost behind her 5 people of the group (you have to cross an underground corridor, no indication, not obvious to find your way if you are alone), several clients with us founded that she wasn’t actually welcoming or efficient in the tour management. We reached Milano at 20h, a lot of traffic on the road on way back to Milano.

Horrible Customer Service – They Don’t Care About Their Clients! - I had a terrible experience with this company and wouldnt recommend them to anyone. I booked a tour through the Getyourguide website for the day trip from Milan to Lake Como and St. Moritz with this company. When I faced a difficult situation during the tour, they were completely unhelpful and unhelpful and unresponsive. It was unacceptable and has caused me significant financial loss and emotional distress. Below are the key issues I encountered: 1) Misleading Itinerary & Last-Minute Changes: I discovered that the itinerary was not as advertised. At the last minute, the train departure location was changed and replaced with a cheaper optionthe tickets for this new route were less than what was promised. 2) Difficult Meeting Point & Communication Breakdown: The meeting point in St. Moritz was extremely hard to locate. To make matters worse, the communication tool provided by the company stopped working at a crucial moment, leaving me with no way to reach out for assistance. I began sending messages shortly after the bus departed, but received no response. 3) Stranded, Missed Train, and Lack of Assistance: Since I received no communication from the company, I was forced to figure out my own way back to Milana process that took over six hours and required me to change between four different buses and trains. Throughout this ordeal, I repeatedly reached out to them, not only to secure my return but also to arrange a way to collect my bag. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response until the following morning (after contacting Getyourguide who sent them an email), a mere 20 minutes before the bus was scheduled to depart from the Milan spot. By that time, I had already missed my early morning train from Milan, and the 20-minute window provided was completely inadequate. 4) Unprofessional Treatment & Humiliation: When I finally reached the bus, the driver insisted that I return an outdated communication device (a radio) before releasing my bag. During my subsequent conversation with the managerwho spoke rudely and without any empathyI was further humiliated when an individual from their team physically pushed me off the bus in front of over a hundred passengers. This appalling treatment forced me to raise my voice before they reluctantly returned my bag. This entire experience demonstrates a clear disregard for customer well-being and professional service. This company completely neglects its customers when they need help the most. If something goes wrong, dont expect them to care. Avoid this company at all costs!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS OPERATOR - DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS OPERATOR. The tour is offered as a “luxury air conditioned bus” and “Relax in climate-controlled comfort as you travel by luxury coach” - THERE WAS NO AIR CONDITIONING. It was far too hot, for three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon, everyone was extremely uncomfortable and feeling sick, the bus smelt of body odour and everyone was having the fan themselves with whatever the could. Company is lying that the air conditioning broke on the way back but it was never on!!! Several people got up to request it. Guide and driver were uninterested, rude and self-important (throughout the day not just about the air con). Neither seemed to actually enjoy what they were doing or wanted to interact with the customers. The guide even arrived late to the meet up point after lunch. Most uncomfortable day of any holiday ever, they have completely ruined this experience.
