Best Private Boat Tour on Lake Maggiore - My wife, my son, and I recently took a private boat tour on Lake Maggiore during our trip to Italy, and it was a wonderful experience for our family. We have visited Italy several times over the years, including the Amalfi Coast and Cinque Terre, and we really enjoyed the different atmosphere Lake Maggiore offered. The setting was peaceful, scenic, and a nice change of pace from some of the busier destinations we have visited before. Our captain, Andrea, was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the lake and surrounding areas. He shared interesting information during the tour and helped create a relaxed and comfortable experience from start to finish. What we appreciated most was that the tour never felt rushed. We had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and simply enjoy being on the water together as a family. Andrea’s enthusiasm for the lake and attention to detail made the experience feel personal and enjoyable without being overly formal. We came away with great memories and some fantastic family photos. If you are visiting Lake Maggiore and looking for a relaxing way to experience the area, this tour is definitely worth considering.

Best Private Boat Tour Ever on Lake Maggiore With Captain Andrea - My wife, my son, and I just returned from a private boat tour on Lake Maggiore and it is honestly one of the most memorable experiences we have ever had in Italy. We have visited Italy for five consecutive years, including trips to the Amalfi Coast and Cinque Terre, but this day on Lake Maggiore stood out in a completely different way. It felt calm, personal, and truly special from the very first moment. Our captain, Andrea, made the experience what it was. He has a natural warmth and an easy way of making people feel welcome. His passion for sailing and for the lake is obvious, and it shows in everything he does. He shared stories and interesting details throughout the tour that brought every view to life. Nothing felt rushed or scripted. It felt like being shown the lake by someone who genuinely loves it and wants you to see it the same way. What stayed with us most was his energy and presence. Relaxed when it needed to be, enthusiastic at just the right moments, and always thoughtful about the experience we were having as a family. We left with incredible memories and some of the best photos we have ever taken together. This was not just a boat tour. It was a highlight of our time in Italy that we will remember for a long time.

Fantastic day out - We had a fantastic time with Andrea. The weather, and his knowledge and enthusiasm (not to mention his Italian charm) made it a perfect day. We saw the hermitage, Santa Caterina Del Sasso, visited a number of the villages along the coast, circled the three main islands and stopped on Pescatori for lunch, after a swim in the surprisingly (to me, anyway) warm lake. A quick thrash back towards the dock at the end of the day when he opened up the throttle completed it. Highly recommended.

4hour Lake Maggiore tour - Booked the 4hour tour with Capitan Andrea Parodi on Lake Maggiore and it was absolutely amazing. Andrea was very knowledgeable and answered all questions we had about the lake. He took us to all the spots we wanted to see. Helped us book lunch and took us to an amazing spot to swim. Very impressed with the whole trip. The boat was very nice, catered to all our needs. Andrea made us feel very relaxed the whole trip. Highly recommend the tour!

Beautiful personalised trip that gave us lots of history but also lots of fun! Great captain Andrea too! - Andrea our captain was fantastic! We had to adjust the pick up time due to rainy weather, both the company and Andrea were very helpful in accommodating this. We were picked up on a jetty outside our hotel one the rain stopped and Andrea took us to see the beautiful sights on Lake Maggiore. The monastery built into the rock, which you can only appreciate by boat. Stunning! We motored alongside Sestra and went around the three beautiful islands which are magical and have the most beautiful exotic botanical gardens. He told us history of all of the places that we visited and also some background on old Italy and the family who owned much of the area. It was interesting! And also really fun for our teenage children too to go on a lovely boat across the lake, with the most stunning backdrop of mountains. We stopped at Isola Pescatori for lunch at Andrea’s recommended restaurant which was absolutely beautiful. Food was exceptional. Great to moor up on a buoy and have the restaurant boat pick us up for lunch and take us back afterwards! We would have had the opportunity to find swim spots but it wasn’t sunny so we decided to stay dry this time! The whole trip was very memorable trip, a big treat, and so incredible to see everything from the water, and be able to make our own plans without having to wait for ferries or other people. The boat was perfect - comfortable, stylish and well looked after. We were dropped back at our hotel by Andrea on the boat. A great trip and well worth the money .

Great Trip with Captain Andrea - We had a great experience on our boat tour. The booking process was easy via the webform. Captain Andrea was early for our pickup and could not have been better. We enjoyed a lovely ride to Santa Caterina del Sasso, then a tour around the Borromean Islands, and finally we swam of the coast of Isola Madre. I would highly recommend this boat tour.
