Lots of history, super informed guide - This was a 10/10 tour. We were a small group so it was very personable and Simone really knows her stuff. As someone who’s not a history buff, it was really interesting to learn all about it.

Very Good. - YOU MUST BOOK A GUIDED TOUR!! Massive queues were avoided by having a guide. Antonio was very knowledgable and made the trip more interesting, although we did feel a little rushed once inside the Vatican buildings and missed out some areas completely. Otherwise a very enjoyable experience.

Vatican Tour 1:30pm with Musel - Musel was a great tour guide! He was very well informed on the history of the Vatican and his boundless energy kept us very entertained and engaged. He was inclusive, made great eye contact and made our trip to the Vatican memorable even on little sleep! Thank you Musel :)

First time in Rome. - Great visit, well organised , don’t forget your photo identity. Our guide was a disappointment, he shared very little and clearly had been guiding for many years. Lacked any rapport with our group. However visiting the Vatican was extremely enjoyable.

Sensational and very crowded! But it's worth it! - Opinions about the Vatican Museums are divided, but usually the experience is described as magnificent and unavoidable by art and history, especially the Sistine Chapel, but also exhaustive and chaotic due to the crowds, requiring planning with advance tickets and, if possible, tours at alternative or guided times to better enjoy. It’s a vast place, with collections of world art, but the experience can be frustrating if not well organized due to the large crowd of people.

Disappointing! - Unfortunately due to the tour guide's strong accent and the poor audio equipment provided, it was very difficult to hear or understand any of this guided english audio tour. You don't get a chance to really spend any amount of time looking at things in the museums. It is SO incredibly rammed with people, that you all have to keep moving through so you don't hold up the thousands of people behind you. The items on display, paintings, ceilings are all spectacular...it's just a shame that you couldn't really take the time to enjoy the experience. It is a huge amount of money to spend, when you come away feeling disappointed.

Fine tour but would plan it differently next time. - This excursion was fine but not exactly what we were expecting. The best part was being able to skip the outside line for the museum and Sistine Chapel. What we expected was to get in without the long wait and that happened, but then the museum tour was very slow and took way longer than we expected or wanted. We really just wanted to see the Sistine Chapel and after an hour and a half of slowly walking through the long hallways of the museum, we finally got into the Chapel, spent about 15 minutes in there taking it in (because you can't take pictures and video) and then we exited. When you exit the Sistine Chapel you exit back out of the Vatican walls so we ended up not being able to use our 'Basilica Access" ticket because by the time we got done with our tour of the museum and Chapel the lines outside and around to go to St. Peters square and Basilica, the lines were well over 3 hours long and we had a Coleseum tour in the afternoon. If I was planning the Vatican trip again, I would plan an early morning St. Peter's Basilica tour - hopefully with a skip the line option. And I would plan a separate day early morning Sistine Chapel visit. Again hoping to skip the line but I wouldn't be interested in the museum tour. Then plan the coleseum later either day.
