Daniela made the Vatican/Sistine Chapel/St Peter’s tour informative and entertaining - Excellent guide. Daniela’s extensive knowledge and able responses to questions made for a great tour. Having been on this tour previously with a different guide I was surprised at how much she added to the previous experience. Would highly recommend.

Vatican City-Sistine Chapel AMAZING - Franco from ‘What a life tours’ was our tour guide. I have done 3 private tours of the Vatican, and of them all this one has been the best. Trust me…there is no way you want to tour the Vatican on your own.. Franco has over 30 years experience as a Vatican City tour guide. His knowledge is amazing! You will learn so much!

Eugene rocks - Eugene was an amazing guide. He really made the Vatican come to life for us. He’s filled with so much knowledge of history, stories and juicy gossip about Michelangelo. It was truly a pleasure to be guided by him. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a tour of the Vatican.

AMAZING- Must Do! - Chincia, our tour guide, was AMAZING! So kind and knowledgeable. I learned so much and it was really fun. As an educator myself, I appreciate when guides make learning so much fun. This tour was worth every penny- I highly recommend.

Fantastic tour! - Elaine was excellent I really enjoyed the tour! We had to make several diversions because of the crowds, it was great as I was able to see parts of the Vatican I hadn’t previously seen.

Must be visited - The visit was excellent organised, the guide was full of knowledge, very approachable, friendly and very passionate about history and religion. Unfortunately there were too many visitors and the place was too busy. The noise was too loud, even though there were areas where we were advised to be silent and this was the biggest inconvenient that didn't let us enjoying visiting some holy places such as The Sistine Chappel or the Saint Peter's Basilica.

Skip the lines - John was wonderful. He was very informative and made our tour very interesting without overburdening us with information. We were able to skip all the intimidating lines with ease. Definitely the best way to see the Vatican.

Vatican tour - Barbara was a good tour guide that shared a lot of great information during our tour. The tours are a double edge sword though, mostly due to how the Vatican operationalizes the experience. They force a steady flow of traffic so you have to keep moving basically, little time to stop and appreciate a space. The tour also pushes you through the main areas, if you wanted to explore any one spot or side area more then you have to leave the tour or come back later on your own (which requires a second admission and waiting back in line - no going against the flow of traffic). Therefore with the tour, you can skip the lies, but you get even less time to appreciate a given area. There are gift shops but we didn’t get a chance to explore or purchase from them because of this which is a missed opportunity. The Vatican is beautiful, sisten chapel is everything you expect it to be, it is sad the see how much the Vatican has taken from other historical locations and kept for themselves. They still ask for donations which is comical with the amount of gold literally everywhere.

Missed the mark - This was our second tour of the Vatican . 1st with this company. We were excited to have our friends join us since they hadn’t been. I liked that this company had an actual location to meet at. Very nice staff. Too nice in fact. Our tour guide waiting for everything including participants that were 25 minutes late. It lead to us having longer lines at the Vatican and missing out on piece of the tour that we had previously seen in the summer. The guide constantly talked about the lines, the weather, the delay, the fact that a mom in our group had a stroller. We moved at such a slow pace that we didn’t seen as much as we did in the summer with more than 50% more of a crowd. Instead of ending inside of St. Peter he led us outside to say goodbye. This was also frustrating as we could and should have more time in St. Peter. Even if the tour is over we could have explored, worshiped and enjoyed the church more. By far this was the worst tour. Then I was asked to review it and was reminded that they were not responsible for the long lines. No your not however the actual tour wasn’t good. The guide missed the mark completely on what was key to the customer. Once in a lifetime for some that wasn’t as good as it could have been . I regret booking through this company
