Sistine Chapel - AVAILABLE ONLY IN THE 8-HOUR TOUR
Constructed by Sixtus IV, from whom it derives its name, the Sistine Chapel was completed in the late fifteenth century. It showcases the Old and New Testament through the works of renowned painters like Perugino, Girlandaio, Botticelli, culminating in Michelangelo’s masterpiece. Inside the “Cappella Magna,” a place of significant religious and political importance, speaking, photography, and videography are prohibited. Your private guide will allocate time for you to appreciate the exquisite decorations. Following this, you will proceed through the door leading into St. Peter’s Basilica. - St. Peter’s Square - The world’s most famous baroque square, where during the conclave, the crowd eagerly awaits the first glimpse of the new Pope. Bernini’s colonnade symbolizes Peter’s embrace of the faithful who have come for centuries to pray at his tomb. At its center stands one of the oldest Egyptian obelisks, originally located in the center of Emperor Nero’s circus in ancient Rome. Your private tour concludes with the hope that you enjoyed the experience and will return to Italy soon.

Colosseum - AVAILABLE ONLY IN THE 5 OR 8-HOUR TOUR
The Colosseum in Rome was the largest and most sophisticated amphitheater of the ancient world, serving as a primary symbol of Rome. Constructed between A.D. 70 and 72 by Emperor Vespasian, it hosted events such as gladiatorial contests and hunting games. - Roman Forum - The world’s most renowned monumental area, the Roman Forum was the political heart of ancient Rome and a symbol of the Eternal City’s power. It is the site where the city was founded in the eighth century BC, marking the beginning of Rome’s remarkable history of conquests across Europe.
- Palatine Hill - As the centermost of Rome’s Seven Hills, Palatine Hill is one of the city’s oldest areas, often referred to as “the first nucleus of the Roman Empire.” Now primarily an open-air museum, the Palatine Museum houses numerous artifacts from excavations here and other ancient Italian sites. Imperial palaces began to be constructed here starting with Augustus. Before the imperial era, the hill was mainly occupied by the homes of the wealthy. Originally, the hill had two summits separated by a depression; the highest was called Palatium, and the other Germalus. Using the Forma Urbis, its perimeter enclosed 63 acres, while the Regionary Catalogues of the 4th century enclosed 131 acres (53 ha).
- Pantheon - The original Pantheon was built in 25 BC by Marco Agrippa, a prominent Roman general and son-in-law of Emperor Augustus. After 150 years, Emperor Hadrian reconstructed it in the same location, resulting in the structure we admire today. Nearly two millennia later, visitors can still explore this ancient building and its remarkable open dome. Since the early seventh century, the Pantheon has been converted into a church, the Basilica of Santa Maria ad Martyres. This unique monument is a must-see, even for those who have previously visited the Eternal City.
- Trevi Fountain - Renowned as the most beautiful and famous fountain globally, the Trevi Fountain symbolizes the unparalleled beauty of Papal Rome. Situated at the intersection of three roads, it marks the ‘terminal point’ of the Acqua Virgo, one of Rome’s vital aqueducts supplying drinking water to the city. A visit to this iconic fountain is essential, where tossing coins ensures a future return to Rome.
- Circus Maximus - The Circus Maximus is an ancient Roman chariot-racing stadium and mass entertainment venue located in Rome, Italy. Nestled in the valley between the Aventine and Palatine Hills, it was the first and largest stadium in ancient Rome and its later Empire.
- Piazza del Campidoglio - The Capitoline Hill, the smallest yet most significant of Rome’s seven hills, served as the political and religious heart of the city, symbolizing Rome’s dominance as the world’s capital. From the Capitol’s summit, your guide will reveal the wonders of ancient Rome, represented by the Roman Forum’s ruins, the largest monumental area globally. This breathtaking view offers incredible photo opportunities to capture the best memories of the Eternal City. A vast expanse of temple, basilica, and triumphal arch ruins symbolizes Rome’s power during the first thirteen centuries of its rule over much of Europe.
- Piazza Venezia / Ancient City - Piazza Venezia is the central hub of Rome, Italy, where several major roads intersect, including the Via dei Fori Imperiali and the Via del Corso. It is named after the Palazzo Venezia, constructed by Venetian Cardinal Pietro Barbo alongside the church of Saint Mark, Venice’s patron saint.
- Via del Corso - “Via del Corso” is a prominent street in Rome’s historical center. It stands out in an area otherwise characterized by narrow, winding alleys and small piazzas. Once considered a wide street, the Corso is approximately 10 meters wide, accommodating two lanes of traffic and two narrow sidewalks. The street’s northern section is a pedestrian area, stretching roughly 1.5 kilometers in length.
- Spanish Steps - The Spanish Steps in Rome, Italy, ascend a steep slope between Piazza di Spagna at the base and Piazza Trinità dei Monti, dominated by the Trinità dei Monti church, at the top. This monumental stairway of 135 steps was constructed with funds bequeathed by French diplomat Étienne Gueffier, linking the Trinità dei Monti church under the Bourbon kings of France’s patronage and the Spanish Embassy at the top of the steps to the Holy See in the Palazzo Monaldeschi at the bottom.
- Piazza Navona - Of unparalleled beauty, Piazza Navona is perhaps Europe’s most stunning square, symbolizing the power of Pope Innocent X and his family, the “Pamphili.” Built over the ruins of Domitian’s stadium, a Roman emperor from the late first century, the modern Baroque square features a Bernini masterpiece at its center, the “Four Rivers” fountain.
- Campo de’ Fiori - A rectangular square south of Piazza Navona in Rome, Campo de’ Fiori translates to “field of flowers” in Italian. The name dates back to the Middle Ages when the area was a meadow. In Ancient Rome, it was an unused space between Pompey’s Theatre and the flood-prone Tiber.
