Start your adventure from Muscat between 7-8 AM with a visit to Nizwa, where you will explore the remarkable Nizwa Fort and its beautiful architecture. Then, immerse yourself in the lively Nizwa Souq, filled with traditional handicrafts, silver jewelry, and spices.
Afterward, proceed to the picturesque mountain village of Misfat Al Abriyeen before enjoying a local lunch in Al Hamra. Continue to Jebel Shams, Oman’s tallest peak, where you will set up camp. Relish a BBQ dinner under the stars, concluding your day with stories by the campfire.
Day 2: Trek to Jebel Shams’ Summit
Wake up early to the fresh mountain air and breakfast, then gear up for an exciting trek to the Jebel Shams summit. Enjoy stunning viewpoints as you climb, culminating in panoramic summit views. After a packed lunch at the top, trek back to base camp before returning to Muscat by evening.
