Such as, scarlet macaws, toucans, hawks, and falcons. Enjoy different routes up the mountain to extreme views of the pacific coast and hidden waterfalls! An amazing adventure for the whole family.
- Minimum age is 18 years old to drive
- Credit card is required on the day of the tour for security reasons and to complete the tour contract / ATV and Dirt Bike $800 / Side by Side Buggy $1500 /Side by Side Talon $2000, we will place a hold on money and at the end we will release the deposit after inspection.

Alberto is the Man! - We had a fantastic experience on this adventure. Alberto led the way on his ATV while we followed in the buggy. The kids had a blast. Alberto asked if there was anything specific we were interested in and we told him birds. Somehow, over the engines, he heard different birds and stopped to point them out to us. We saw 8 toucans thanks to his careful attention. The stop at the restaurant was perfect for a nice drink, but was too crowded for quick food, so eat beforehand. Overall, would definitely recommend and would do it again.
Also, Alberto has the hook-up on all sorts of different adventures and made an experience happen for us after I messed up scheduling another adventure myself.

Highly recommended! - We took our family on the buggy tour and it was fantastic! Our guide was great and filled us in on some interesting trivia around the area. The waterfall was beautiful and the short stop for refreshments was just the right amount of time for a break.

Super fun 3 hour trail ride with Mike from AXR! - We had a great family friendly ride on our Honda 4x4 utv or utility vehicle. It was all terrain and rugged country and we went through farms and jungles. The guide was nice and explained our environments. He was super patient with our four year old.

Unforgettable Buggy Adventure in Jacó! - From start to finish, this tour was amazing! Tony made booking super easy and got us hyped up for the experience. Our guide, Dylan, was absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, fun, and made sure everyone felt safe and had a great time. The route took us through stunning scenery, muddy trails, and even some hidden spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. The buggies were in great shape and a blast to drive. This was hands down one of the highlights of our trip. If you're in Jacó, don’t miss it!

Buggy Tours are a must do! - This is not to be missed! We did the 3 hour waterfall ride and it was perfect. Lunch at the Mirador el Tajo was great. Peppe, our guide was super helpful with my 77 year old mother in law, and was one of the nicest people. Beautiful views from the top of the mountain.
They utilize Honda Pioneer 1000-5 buggy’s. One of the best and most comfortable UTV’s ever made.
A must do if you’re in Jaco

An amazing tour of Costa Ricas' culture, food, wild life, & scenery - My son and I did an all day Buggy Tour. Danny was amazing stopping along the way explaining different plants and flowers, history of towns and farms, tasting fruits directly from the trees, pointing out insects. The tour included stops with a quick tour at the chocolate factory, a local moonshine bar, local cuisine lunch with a beautiful view, waterfall stop with a swim, a stop at a passion fruit farm and tasted one directly off the tree. I highly suggest you ask for Danny. We may have been able to stop at more places since it was just us that had signed up for the day. Danny is very knowledgeable and you can tell his loves his job

Fantastic - Are guide Tony was awesome. Vehicle was safe, views breathtaking. Make sure to do the tour that’s at least 3 hours to see the good waterfall.

5 Star Experience - Awesome!! - Great experience. The buggy was awesome and our private tour guide was excellent. We went all through the mountains, stopped at a waterfall, and had lunch at the top of the mountain. The guide took lots of pictures. Office staff was super nice and the entire experience was definitely 5 stars! Highly recommended.

Fun day but… - It was a fun trip. Our guide Mike was very friendly and informative. While helmets and food/drink were in the description? We did not receive any. He did ask if we wanted to ride longer or stop at a restaurant? Maybe that was our chance idk? We crossed a creek and got a flat tire on a big rock. We had to wait an hour for Mike to drive down and bring back a new tire. (Not a replacement ATV) upon checkout the girl was very disinterested in the fact that we were left alone in the heat for an hour waiting. No apology. No concern for us whatsoever. Not even a bottle of water! I believe she said “oh well stuff happens”. We had fun but the company really needs to work on their customer service. Could be worse I suppose. At least they didn’t charge us for the tire!
