Jaco Food Tour and More! - This trip was fantastic!!! My brother and I wanted to take an educational food tour and this hit the spot. Josue was a fantastic guide. He was well educated in the history of Jaco and many of its Costa Rician traditions, food and customs. The leisurely stroll through Jaco was very informative and the food at every stop was incredible. Josue filled us in on the history of the food, the people who consumed it and how it is incorporated into todays life. He also provided us with other details about early Costa Rica like the importance of the coffee plantations and the colonialism of Costa Rica.

Explore Jaco with Josue - I had a great time. Josue made me feel very comfortable. He talked about the history of Jaco I got to see the beautiful area especially the sunset. All the place we went to try the local food and drink were delicious. I recommend this tour to city and enjoy Jaco

Great Way to Feel Like a Local - Food was incredible. Josue, our guide, was friendly and excited to show us the town and its best places to get a snack or drink. He gave cultural history lessons and fun explanations of Costa Rica, and Jaco itself. Truly a must experience tour.

Jaco Food Tour - This tour is fantastic! Josue had vast knowledge of the areas food history and was a most accommodating tour host. I highly recommended this tour. You will not be disappointed !

This is the real local food and culture experience! - Josue took us on the perfect tour. We had a good 2 mile walk through shopping areas, murals, city hall, a farmers market, and the beach. We tried a variety of local cuisine and it was exactly the right amount of food. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and easy to talk to.
Definitely do this if you are in Jaco. Incredible value and your get to eat and drink like a local.

This is the local food experience you want - This waa the real deal. We tried traditional food and drinks from local spots that was 100% delicious. Our guide waa knowledgeable and included a lot of interesting history and public art in the tour. We did this near the end of our Costa Rica trip so he was able to answer a lot of questions we had during our visit. We also walked a couple of miles so we were never feeling too full for the next stop.
Note: let the tour guide know if you have any health need or disabilities . My wife and I are in good shape but the walk might need to be modified If you are not.

Great food and interesting history - Josue's food tour is really a great time. Josue has a a lot of knowledge about Jaco and pointed out some incredible street art. My wife and her friend and I all really enjoyed the tour it was very relaxing and over all a great vibe never felt rushed out of any of the stops. I don't drink but Josue had solutions at the drink stops it was a really nice touch to have non alcoholic options. We all said this is a definite must for anyone!

Like a friend giving you a tour - I almost didn’t make it because the weather was hotter than expected (and I am asthmatic) . But by the time the tour was to start it got better and Josue was very patient and tried to stay in the shade as much as possible. The places were great local dives and we learned some great things about the history of this new emerging city. It was like hanging out with a friend. Definitely do this tour when you’re in CR near Jaco!
