So refreshing - The hike was very scenic and was saw various waterfalls and natural pools. Some parts were a bit strenuous. I would highly recommend good sneakers/boots and definitely wear a bathing suit to enjoy the natural spring pools.

A little exertion, a lot of relaxation - Charlie was a great guide. He taught us a lot about plant life and the history and lore of the area. Parts of the hike were satisfyingly challenging and swimming in the pools of the waterfalls was thrilling. We had lunch included which was delicious and in the most gorgeous spot. This tour is great bang for your buck and I would highly recommend.

Awesome tour! - This was a great tour! It was a highlight of our time in Costa Rica. Yes, you do need to be in moderately good shape and expect to be challenged as you do need to use ropes to pull yourself up rock formations, if afraid of heights I would avoid. Consider the time of year too, rainy season your walking through water chest high, much less so in the dry season. It was awesome! We enjoyed jumping into the pools from the waterfalls

A difficult climb but worth the effort - The hike was amazing and the lunch was delicious. I think it is important to know that you will be swimming. It is not possible to keep your feet dry and the climbs to the beautiful waterfalls are rigorous. The guide,Marlon, was terrific. It was very remote, authentic and challenging.

Best climb and hike ever! - This is an exhilarating, fabulous hike and climb. Our guide Dustin was so knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife, and the plants. The climbing was a challenge at times, which made it even more exciting. You literally climb up the side of waterfalls on a rope. If you want a fabulous, learning, and unforgettable adventure, this is the place for you!

10 waterfall Excursion - Amazing but challenging! - First let me say that we truly enjoyed this excursion. It was a very physically demanding hike. I would really characterize it as more of a canyoning or canyoneering excursion. You will be using ropes to pull your body weight up pretty steeply angled rock faces at multiple locations. My smartwatch said that it was equivalent to 16 floors climbed and covered approximately 6 mi in total length. Would that said the waterfalls were beautiful and being able to swim in the natural pools was amazing. Our guide Jorge was amazing and he provided much assistance to a couple of the ladies who struggled in a couple of areas.

Exceptional beauty and exhilarating hike!! - This hike far exceeded any expectations we had. One of our trip highlights for sure! Charlie was an amazing guide who not only loves what he does but knows so much about plants and the area in general. After an initial walk through the creek/river bed, the hike itself was exhilarating and did involve some climbing and steeper inclines. The waterfalls were beautiful and we were able to swim in the pools at the base of each the waterfalls as well as jump into one and swim under several of the falls. Recommend sturdy footwear that will get wet - we wore light weight tennis shoes and it was perfect. The owner Jorge was friendly, communicated clear directions for us and even followed up after giving us a great tip for another activity. Finally the drink Jaxon made for us on our arrival (fresh squeezed sugarcane, ginger and lime) was the best I’ve ever had.

promblematisk and bad info - it was too hard for people with bad balance and spine problems. it was more climbing than a walk.
