Pushkar - Here, visitors can explore the temple where Brahma conducted a Yagya, or ritual fire ceremony, and dropped a lotus from his hands to create the lake where people bathe before offering prayers. A silver turtle at the entrance of the marble temple symbolizes his mode of transport (Gods had various animals for their celestial journeys).
There are approximately four hundred temples lining the lake’s banks. The spires create a skyline that, when the vesper bells ring, is truly worthy of the kingdom of heaven.
