Incredible experience! - Highly recommend doing this if you are in Jaipur! Was so fun to feed and bathe the elephants and you can tell they are really cared for at this sanctuary. Afterwards, you are brought to the family home for a meal cooked by Rahul's mother. Was delicious! And so special.

Extraordinary time with elephants - I recently visited an elephant sanctuary, and it was truly a dream come true! The experience was one of a kind, with the elephants clearly well taken care of. It was heartwarming to see how much the elephant’s caretaker truly cared for her; they clearly had a special bond, and he did an outstanding job. While the guide wasn't as engaging as I had hoped, the personal connection between the elephant and her caretaker more than made up for it. Another great part of the trip was definitely the lunch at the family’s house. The food was incredible—flavorful but prepared with care, remembering to make it not spicy and using boiled water. It was amazing to get a glimpse into authentic Indian family life, and the hospitality was heartwarming. It’s an experience I’ll never forget!

Elefantastic is a spectacular experience - A must do for anyone that visits Jaipur. - Elefantastic was one of the best experiences I have ever had on my travels and would certainly recommend to anyone/group that visit Jaipur. The experience was amazing! We met Padma, who was a beautiful female elephant, very caring and calming. We were able to feed Padma, decorate her and wash her. Padma and all the other elephants are very well looked after which is great to know and to be so close to these animals is so spectacular. The staff at the sanctuary were brilliant, very welcoming and shared a lot about the elephants and the history of the place. The owner (Rahul) invited us round to his home where is Mother prepared some delicious food. Such an amazing family that are truly doing something wonderful. A must visit!

Lakshmi stole our hearts! - We loved getting up close and personal with Lakshmi, the rescued circus elephant. She clearly feels relaxed in her new home. Bathing her was especially fun -- we all got wet! My husband and I now realize that riding elephants up the steep hill to Amber Fort is cruel. This is a kind way to interact with elephants. And the meal in a family setting was delicious! You won't regret booking this activity!

Wonderful trip with the beautiful elephants! - If I could give this review 100 stars I would. I spent 24 hours with the beautiful Shukoor and Padma doing the night experience and it is one of the most incredible things I have done in all my travels. Being so close to these amazing elephants and being able to interact with them and learn about them in such a calm and ethical way was incredible. I miss them already! Everything was arranged perfectly, the food at their home was lovely. I wish I could do it all again!

Amazing experience - I’m a zookeeper from the UK and travelled to Elefantastic on the 29th March 2025. When visiting these kind of places I always do my research to ensure that the animals that we are visiting are not exploited and are cared for. During my experience at Elefantastic i could not help but notice the connection between the elephants and their carers. Each elephant is paired with an individual keeper that will take care of their specific husbandry and welfare needs. My experience from start to finish was simply amazing. From pick up to drop off we were thoroughly looked after. The experience with the elephants involved feeding, washing, painting and walking. Given the toughness of an elephants skin it was a pleasure to scrub away the natural oils that we applied to Padma our elephant during the painting. This was clearly very enriching and relaxing for Padma as she began to rest her eyes whilst we scrubbed away. Having worked with rhinos that have a very similar type of skin, it was a joy to see just how much a good scrub provided Padma with pleasure. Padma is 35 years old and was rescued only 11 months ago from what was a very uncomfortable life working on Amber Fort. With access to up to 250 kilograms worth of food a day and plenty of space to roam it’s clear that Padma lives a much better life now. After our experience we were invited to Rahuls home where his mother and wife cooked us a very tasty vegetarian meal. The food was delicious and his family were lovely too! If you are to visit Jaipur, Elefantastic is a once in a lifetime experience that you must do!

Wonderful hands on experience with Elephants! - Elefantastic was an amazing experience. From taking a walk with our elephant Padma, to washing her and feeding her, the kids had a great time. We stayed overnight and the evening entertainment and food was great, in a very tranquil setting with the elephants hanging out nearby. The tents were very comfortable, air conditioned and with full bathroom and bathing facilities. The staff, the elephants and the owner Rahul will all make you feel welcome. It’s clear that the elephants are very well cared for and that this is an elephant sanctuary first and foremost. Can’t recommend this enough. It is a unique once in a lifetime experience and the highlight of our trip to India.

Great visit - We very much enjoyed our time at Elefantastic!! We met Padma and she was happy and affectionate. While elephants belong in the wild this rehab sanctuary is a good place for working elephants to retire. The breakfast we were served in the owner's home was delicious. This was my second time at Elefantastic and would come again!

Amazing trip and must do!! - An absolutely amazing experience to see these beautiful elephants up close. You get to feed them, walk them, and then clean them off. The whole team are friendly and welcoming. You finish the trip off with an amazing home cooked meal from a family in the local village. One of our best experience whilst travelling India.
