Khole Ke Hanuman Ji Temple, Jaipur - Start your day with a pick-up at 8 am from your hotel, Jaipur airport, or any preferred location in Jaipur to visit the first hidden gem, Khole Ke Hanuman Ji Temple. Built in 1960 and dedicated to Lord Hanuman, this temple is a must-visit for its stunning views of the Aravallis and serene atmosphere. Perched on a hilltop and surrounded by hills on three sides, it was commissioned by Pandit Radhe Lal Choubey, a resident of Jamwa Ramgarh, after discovering a rock with a carving of Lord Hanuman. Inspired, he decided to construct the temple in 1961. The Dal-Bati Churma and Swamani Prashads, prepared in the temple’s numerous kitchens, are quite popular and should not be missed.

Panna Meena ka Kund - Explore the second hidden gem of Jaipur, Panna Meena Stepwell. This beautiful 16th-century yellow stepwell lies in the shadow of the famous Amber Fort. A charming baori (step-well) with geometric designs and sharp shadows, it has been restored to its former glory. Built for the people of Amer to collect water, it was also used in nearby temples. Women came here to fill their water pots for household chores. Additionally, Panna Meena ka Kund served as a resting place for many travelers, including business people and saints, due to its significantly cooler temperature.
-
Dolls Museum - This small hidden gem, established in 1973, is a dreamland for both children and adults who wish to experience the unique taste of world culture. The museum features a wide array of toys and figurines, showcasing various genres and styles. The extensive collection of puppets and figurines is displayed across five different galleries, each containing dolls gathered from different parts of India and the world.
Later, enjoy lunch at a local air-conditioned restaurant.
-
Patrika Gate - Often called “the most colorful door in India,” this Instagram-worthy spot in Jaipur was built in 2016. The gate is a vibrant display of hues depicting the history of Jaipur, India’s famed Pink City. As you walk under the gate, you’ll find a series of stunning archways, each decorated with Rajasthani culture in mind. It highlights major attractions in Jaipur, such as Jal Mahal, along with colorful artwork.
-
Galtaji Temple - Known as the ‘Monkey Temple’ due to the abundance of monkeys, Galtaji Temple is a hidden gem of Jaipur with great historical significance. The temple complex consists of several temples, with Galta Ji being the main one. These temples are nestled within a narrow crevice of a mountain pass in the Aravalli hills.
The complex features several sacred tanks, locally known as Kunds, used by pilgrims for bathing to cleanse their sins. These kunds are filled by a natural spring that originates high in the hills and flows downward, filling all seven sacred kunds. The Galta Kund is considered the holiest and is believed to have never dried up.
- Surya Mandir - The final hidden gem on your Jaipur tour is ‘Surya Mandir.’ This beautiful temple sits atop a 200-meter hill, offering an excellent vantage point to watch the sunset over Jaipur’s skyline. Slightly off the regular tourist path, the Surya Mandir, or “Sun Temple,” is one of the best viewpoints in Jaipur for sunset viewing.
This temple is part of the Galta Ji temple complex, located on the same road leading to the Sun Temple (Surya Mandir). It was logical to build the Sun Temple on the Eastern hill range, as the Sun rises from the East.
Capture a panoramic shot of the Pink City against the backdrop of a beautiful sunset sky. After a memorable day, your tour concludes with a return to your hotel or any desired location in Jaipur.
