- Renuka Hotel - Route: The safari journey leads through the serene and secluded regions of the Thar Desert, showcasing its diverse wildlife and pristine sand dunes.
Day 1:
Please be aware that the tour begins at Hotel Renuka Jaisalmer, but arrangements can be made for pick-up from your hotel in Jaisalmer or any predetermined location.
The tour departs between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm (depending on the safari month) by jeep to the campsite, located 53 km from Jaisalmer, approximately a one-hour drive. Upon arrival at the campsite, enjoy a camel ride through the genuine desert landscape, reaching the sand dunes in time for sunset. The camel ride lasts about 2 hours, with each person having their own camel.
After soaking in the desert’s ambiance, savor a delightful dinner cooked over the campfire. Sleeping under the starry sky on a clean, proper bed promises dreams of the desert.
Day 2:
Following sunrise and breakfast, embark on another camel ride, then return to Jaisalmer city by jeep around 11:30 AM.
Complimentary shower and room facilities are available before departure and upon return from the safari.

Renuka camel safari organizing safari since 1988 and our safaris takes you into remote and isolated areas of the Thar desert during which you will experience visiting villages, nativ wildlife, some of the most beautiful sunset and sunrise as well as sleeping under the star filled sky. During your tour you are welcome to learn local cooking skills from our camel guides as all the meals are freshly prepared over the campfire.
- We require minimum two people to start the tour and maximum group can be of 8 people or any size if you travel with your own group.
- Please Note that there are no man made facilities available on our tour such as tents or washroom; for toilet you have to go behind the bushes. Please inform us of any food allergies you may have.
