• Adventure Travel Agency Camel Safari - Route: This safari leads you through the serene and secluded regions of the Thar Desert, showcasing its diverse wildlife and pristine sand dunes.

Day 1:
The tour begins from our Jaisalmer office, but arrangements can be made for pick-up from your hotel in Jaisalmer or any predetermined location. Departure is scheduled between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm (depending on the safari month) via jeep to the campsite, located 50 km from Jaisalmer; a one-hour jeep journey.

Upon arrival at the campsite, enjoy a camel ride, visiting a village en route and reaching the sand dunes in time for sunset. The camel ride lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, with each participant having their own camel.

After soaking in the desert’s beauty, savor a delightful dinner cooked over a campfire. Sleep under the starry sky on a clean bedroll, sure to dream of the desert.

DAY 2:

8:30 am to 10:30 am - Following sunrise and breakfast, embark on another camel ride, then return to Jaisalmer by jeep, arriving by 12 noon.

Shower facilities are available for those who wish to freshen up before the tour or upon return.

Since 1987, the Adventure Travel Agency has been organizing camel safaris that journey into the remote and secluded regions of the Thar Desert. These safaris offer the opportunity to visit villages, observe native wildlife, and witness some of the most stunning sunsets and sunrises. Guests can enjoy sleeping under a star-filled sky in our specially designed bedrolls. Throughout the tour, participants are invited to learn local cooking techniques from our camel guides, as all meals are freshly prepared over a campfire.
