Perfect Tour of Jakarta - Great tour that covered all the important sights of Jakarta. Everything was well organized and the route was very interesting, especially using public transportation like a local. The tour guide Ivan did an amazing job – very knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. He also took my individual needs into account and made sure I got back on time. Highly recommended!

It's a great opportunity to take a closer look at the culture & history. Definitely worth to do. - I didn't expect much through this walking tour, but it turned out great. The guide was so good at choosing the public transportation, so we can get from one place to the others in a very efficient way. Istiqlal Mosque and Cathedral are definitely stunning, the connection between Chinatown and Batavia and the quick historical background is definitely more than enough for tourists. That way, I can enjoy Jakarta in a different and more respectful ways. Tuk tuk (Bajaj) ride was fun, Transjakarta is perfectly integrated, the commuter train is always on time. What more do you want?

I had a tour with Ivan,... - I had a tour with Ivan, and it was a great introduction to Jakarta. We touched all the important landmarks, especially Chinatown and the Old Town (Kota Tua), he was a great conversation partner and was happy to go along in trying some coffee with me!

Fun and enjoyable tour experience - I had a one on one tour to visit Kota Tua and Taman Fatahillah, Makutharama Puppet Studio with a bonus puppet show, Chinatown where we had a nice lunch, then over to the National Monument and Istiqlal Mosque. My guide Ivan was friendly and excellent at navigating us around with public transport. He was highly knowledgeable with the history of these places and open to whatever questions I had. Overall it was a fun and enjoyable tour--thanks Ivan!

Total awesome day - This was the best day. Highly recommend if you want to see Jarkata from a local perspective. The public transport, visits to many places and the chance to see things that an ordinary tour would not provide. Be prepared for walking and steps and have a sense of adventure and you’ll love it. I did!

A great day out - If possible, I like to use public transport when I travel to a new city as it makes it much more real. This trip did not disappoint: we travelled on Miktotrans Microbuses, TransJakarta buses, trains and Bajaj (tuk tuks). Ivan was really knowledgeable and answered any and all questions about Jakarta and Indonesia and I don’t think I would have had the confidence to attempt to use the transport system by myself. Ivan adapted the tour, as my hotel was not very central. We didn’t exactly follow the itinerary and it is more about visiting sites rather than going into sites, (although we did go into a puppet studio), but if you don’t have much time, it’s a good way to see a lot of Jakarta, not just the tourist sites. This tour is much better value if more than one of you take it. For me it was good value as I was the only one on the tour and Ivan is really personable and easy to get on with.

Getting around and getting to know Jakarta - Enjoyed a great day getting around the busy city of Jakarta. I had a great guide Ivan who was friendly, knowledgeable and made the day work well. We travelled around by various buses, trains even a rickshaw. We saw the main sights and it felt a good way to get a feel for the city in one day. I would recommend this tour.

Jakarta walking tour - Agung is a very knowledgeable and courteous guide. He understands the history of Indonesia very well and his English language is exceptional. We visited important areas and he explained each area very well. The walking gave us opportunity to get closer to the local people and using public transportation was a fun experience. I highly recommend using this service for those with limited time in Jakarta.

Good way to get a feel for Jakarta if you’re up for the walk and chaos of public transit. - Came off a cruise ship looking for a more personal experience for our day in Jakarta. We were met by our guide at the port and he steered us onto buses, trains and , as needed, Grab cars to move around. Because of the time taken to travel between stops, and the crowds, the time at stops often felt rushed and we missed a few things that might have been nice to see. There was no time for a break for coffee/ toilets, which surprised us. Highlights were the puppet making workshop and the huge Mosque. We did get an up close and personal experience! Our guide Ivan answered our various questions, as best he could and was very respectful of our desire to get back by a specific time. An excellent way to see a busy and sometimes chaotic city.
