The Appleton Experience - An experience to remember, the family enjoyed the time spent, not to mention our tour guide, Trisha. Also, check out the restaurant; lunch was great.

Lovely experience and I would recommend - Amazing experience with lovely guide who helped us to understand the history of the estate and distillery. Plenty of opportunities to ask questions, get involved and ask questions.
Children get a discounted price and an alternative welcome drink. When you enter and buy your wristband, you are greeted by a lovely lounge where you can relax, drink and even play a game of Jenga.
There is one part of the tour that is not wheelchair accessible so if going do check if there is a lift. 95% of the tour is wheelchair accessible.
Nice gift shop reasonably priced with the option to fill and lable your very own Appleton Estate bottle.
A nice day out. Special thanks for staff who kept an eye on my teen who was not feeling very well in the sun.

Appleton Estate tour is a must. - This is a must see tour for rum lovers and non+rum lovers a like who visit the St Elizabeth parish in Jamaica. Our tour guide Danielle was extremely well informed professional and friendly. The Estate is immaculately maintained. Understanding the rum making process was engaging and highly interactive. We were welcome with a rum cocktail of our choice and got to taste three rum varieties. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was extremely good value for money. The gift shop was also worth the visit with the best prices on rum.

Great experience - Well worth the journey and the money. We hired a car and drove ourselves, so only paid the entry fee. The journey there was bumpy but it was great to pass through little villages and get to see the real Jamaica. The tour itself was very informative. Our guide Rasia was fun and had a lovely manner… pitched it really well. Great tasting experience after a delicious welcome drink on arrival. We then had a tasty meal in the restaurant on site, which was a fair price. The gift shop was lovely. Expensive, but that’s to be expected, and there’s something for every budget. Fully recommend this tour. We really enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish.

Amazing experience - Tiffany was our tour guide. I appreciated her help with taking pictures in different places and also allow us to understand the process of the rum and the history behind it all. This was definitely an amazing tour and very helpful with history.

Great Excursion for South Jamaica - We stayed at Sandals South Coast & were pleased to see that Appletons was only 1 hour 10 mins approx by car
We arrived around 10:30am & had to each complete our details on a tablet Twice! I really didn’t see the need for our details to be taken twice but as soon as completed, we were directed to the bar
There was a choice of 2 drinks & it surprised me that we would get straight into the drinking! I had a Stormy Valley which was absolutely delicious Then we were offered another drink Wow It was like a party before we even started the tour
Peter was our guide & he was immediately welcoming, funny and informative
The whole tour was a lot more entertaining than I thought it would be We had demonstrations of the process from origins & even walked through the distillery The gardens were beautiful The rum tasting was interesting & now I have a taste for Appletons 12
The only thing I didn’t like was the included lunch Cafeteria style & I was told that if I wanted the vegetarian option, it should’ve been ordered in advance The jerk chicken I had was very dry ( under heat lamps) A lady offered us a soft drink but the fruit punch was so sugary I couldn’t drink it
There is a good gift shop but we weren’t tempted to purchase anything
Would definitely recommend the tour but not the lunch

Poor customer service - I did not get to experience the tour. Our plane was delayed at the last hour, so of course threw our plans off. I admit it was a rookie mistake to plan same day of landing, but thought since we had an early flight and later booking we would make it. Contacted the company as soon as possible when I had service to see if we could reschedule, was told no twice, then told could reschedule if I contact through help & support which I did and also called the ph no given 876-618-1895 still have not heard a reply back. So that is the reason for the low rating because they posted the payment before they they said they would to begin with and we still didn't get the tour, so out of money and tour while on vacation and no good customer service on top of that. Lesson learned dont plan excursion ahead of landing. Was trying to be prepared this trip and backfired on me I guess.
