Icefields Parkway - After meeting your guide in the town of Jasper, you’ll head 8 km south of town to the put-in point.
After suiting up in clean gear and receiving a safety talk, you start heading down the river. The section begins with about a 10-minute float. This allows the paddler time to feel comfortable in the raft, experience the river environment and take in the 360-degree mountain view. After this short float, the grade 2 rapids begin. Grade 2 is big enough to get everyone who wants to get wet, but it is unlikely anyone will go for an unexpected swim.
After 4 or 5 sections of rapids, the Miette River joins the Athabasca, highlighting the color difference between a rain and snow fed river and a glacier fed river. The trip ends just around the corner at Old Fort Point. After getting out of your wet gear, it is a 3 km drive back to town. All trips are in 8 person-guided rafts. Rain or shine, this trip is great for ages 5-95.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum age of 5 years old
- Late and No Show Policy: Please double check the date and time on your confirmation. Our primary pick up location is the RV Parking Lot and scheduled departure times are based on this location. We ask that all participants arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. There will be no refund provided if you arrive after departure time or do not show for the date and time of your scheduled trip.
- Wear your bathing suit or t-shirt and shorts under regular clothes. All river gear is provided.
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to trip time.

Next to the Jasper Home Building Center (706 Sleepy Hollow Road), and across the railway tracks from the set of traffic lights at the intersection of Connaught Drive and Hazel Avenue. Look for our yellow or blue school buses with yellow rafts on the trailer.
Please arrive 15 minutes early.

So much fun! - Great experience rafting the Athabasca river and was so much fun. Molly our guide and Fred our driver were fantastic through out, would definitely recommend if visiting Jasper

Awesome day River Rafting on Athabasca River - Great first time river rafting. Enjoyed it immensely and would recommend it if you have never tried it. Our crew were fantastic. Thank you Dave, Molly, Ollie and special thanks to our guide, Seb. He shared lots of information about the area and gave us tips for things to do in Banff, much appreciated.

Fun Rafting Adventure for Everyone in Jasper - This is a great activity for any age traveler with enough splash to be refreshing, but nothing crazy enough to worry about. Ellie was our guide for the trip and did an amazing job of telling us about the area on the way down the river, while also keeping us on task with paddling when needed and keeping us safe. Annaja did a great job of explaining how things would work on the way to the launch site and also kept everyone laughing along the way. Finally Aaron did a great job of driving us to the launch and back safely and took some great photos of our group.
The rafting trip was really fun and we had a great time. Please consider using this small local company for your rafting excursions in Jasper. They will do all they can to make sure you have a great experience and a lot of fun.

Exciting but not dangerous - I'm 71 years old and not especially fit. It was a bit testing physically but manageable. The team were very supportive and helpful. It was an altogether enjoyable experience and very well managed.
I won't get the chance to do it again, unfortunately!
