We’d do again - Our guide Josh was knowledgeable, personable, had a deep knowledge of botany (helpful in explaining the wildfire from 2024) and keen interest in making sure we saw animals. He was great. We didn’t see any bear, but we’d seen a lot before this trip so we were fine with that. Elk, long horn sheep, and more. We chose to not do the cruise on Maligne Lake and instead did the hike on Moose Lake and —no moose but Josh told us maybe 10% chance and gave us a choice), it was a beautiful hike and we saw lots of of track, scat etc. Very comfortable van.

Great trip - Ross was our guide and he was so knowledgeable about the land and animals. We never felt rushed. We were traveling with our 11 year old granddaughter and she said this was her favorite tour on our vacation. She learned a lot about animals and loved the bear stories!

We saw adult and baby coyotes, adult and baby grizzlies, marmots, elk, and eagles. Sam shared a lot of facts and explanations about everything wildlife, boreal forest, and fire related. 10/10!

A day to remember - We joined the 6 hour wildlife tour and hike at Maligne lake with Josh. We very much enjoyed his knowledgeable commentary about the surroundings. We saw wildlife including Grizzlies, a moose, mountain goats, a whistling marmot (see photo) and osprey and bald eagle's nests.

Does not deliver to its ‘promises’ - The success of the day depended on the wildlife seen. Sam our guide did his absolute best to find wildlife and we did see an Elk close up and eagles and ospreys from a far. However the disappointment of the day was the hike which was just a gental stroll in the forest with little chance of seeing any wildlife. Yes we saw blue lakes and snow covered mountains but in this area you see that everyday. The tour was OK but don’t expect too much.
