Try it once and you'll want to go back - Did the Sunwapta trip with my teenager and we both had a fantastic time. We chose the bus option from Jasper rather than driving and it added the opportunity to meet other rafters from around the world. Before entering the river, the staff outfitted everyone with wetsuits and provided basic training with necessary safety info. If you've canoed or kayaked on a river, you'll be familiar with most of this. Once on the river, there's a length of fairly calm water where everyone can practice working together. Then you're on to the best part, the rapids. Jordan, or one of the other guides, expertly take you through the rapids where you'll help paddle and get quite wet along the way. The water is cold but who cares! It's a few hours you won't soon forget and you'll definitely want to go back and do it again.

Perfect for beginners - Brought my friends to try white river rafting for the first time. Staff were excellent, and the river was just the right amount of challenge for beginners.

Great first time rafting - Had the most amazing experience with Jasper Rafting Adventures. It was my first time doing this and I was really nervous. The team - Annaja, Luke, Jimmy and Andre made me feel at ease. They showed us all about the safety features and ensured us that we’d have fun. I had Annaja as our rafter and she was great! Really passionate and knowledgeable about rafting, great sense of humour and fun to be around. She made sure we felt at ease, we were safe and we had an amazing time. Thanks so much ♥️

Great Rafting experience - We took the 0945 session, the pick up point wasn't very clear but we found it after a while. Our guide was Jimmy, he was great, he answered any questions we had about rafting, the river and about the local area. My daughter has a couple of medical conditions which means we need access to medicine at all times, he kept this safe for us during the rafting and was really accommodating to ours needs. I would definitely recommend this excursion in Jasper and this rafting company. Thanks Jimmy and team

Would recommend! - We've been twice now, once on the Athabasca and now Sunwapta today. Great experience both times! Our raft guide today was Jimmy, he was incredibly personable, kind and made the whole experience even more fun. Thank you!

So much fun! - We had an amazing experience! I've been on a few rafting trips and this was my friend's first. We both had a blast! Class 3 rapids are enough to get an adrenaline rush and get soaked, but it's not scary. Nate was our guide and he did an awesome job, but all the guides seemed super cool and knowledgeable! They walk you through all the maneuvers and safety but make it fun. It poured rain for a portion of the trip, which made the camera go on the fritz so the photos came out blurry, which was disappointing — but they gave them to us for free when they're normally $40, which was very nice! Definitely recommend this!
