Borobudur and Prambanan Temple

Yogyakarta to Bromo

Cemorolawang - Journey overland from Yogyakarta to East Java (approximately 6–7 hours). Enjoy the picturesque countryside, traditional Javanese villages, and rice terraces en route. Arrive at Cemoro Lawang Village, situated at the base of Mount Bromo, and spend the night in a cozy hotel.

Mount Bromo

Mount Bromo - Rise at around 2:30 AM for a memorable sunrise experience. Travel by 4WD jeep to the Bromo viewpoint to witness one of Indonesia’s most breathtaking vistas, featuring Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru in the distance. Descend into the Sea of Sand and either walk or ride a horse to the base of Mount Bromo. Ascend 250 steps to the crater rim for awe-inspiring views of the steaming volcano and the surrounding national park. After breakfast and some rest, continue the journey towards Ijen, with an overnight stay near the volcano’s base.

Bondowoso City to Mount Ijen and Drop-off in Bali

Ijen - Set off around midnight for the Ijen Crater hike (approximately 3 km uphill). Trek through forested slopes under the stars to witness the remarkable blue flames, produced by burning sulfuric gases. As dawn arrives, be captivated by the stunning turquoise lake, the largest acidic lake in the world, encircled by rugged volcanic cliffs. After descending, unwind and enjoy breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive to Bali, where the tour concludes with a drop-off at the hotel or chosen location.
