Excellent tour by... - Excellent tour by Khurram. We enjoyed learning about the historical sites of Taif and enjoyed the beautiful views. Had a lovely lunch too. Would recommend!

Not bad, but not good. - Lunch was not delicious, the guide was a decent person and could speak English. It wasn't rose season, so it wasn't worth seeing. It was finished an hour earlier than planned. The trip was long and there was not much time for sightseeing, so we stopped at the last cafe with a view, but it was said to be 10 minutes and we could not drink coffee.

Good but not spectacular - The scenery was decent but not something spectacular- I think it depends on when the season is. Maybe in spring when the roses are in bloom and the mountains are green it would be better. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable.

Made up itinerary and time wasted - Do not waste your time and money with this tour. The guide does not follow the itinerary; I booked this tour to see the town of Taif and principally its Souk. Instead we only spent 1 hour in downtown Taif eating in a restaurant after which we were coaxed to spend 2 hours on a farm in the outskirts of town, viewing a river overflowing with litter and caged animals - clearly the guide and the owner of the farm had a prior business agreement. The drive to Taif is beautiful, but the tour is badly organised: you reach one of the main mountain passes around noon when it is so foggy that you can barely see 10 meters. However, on the return trip, when the view was clear, we didn't stop to enjoy it. Also the stop at the rose distillery was uninteresting and took way too much time. I felt bored and regret I wasted my time on this tour.
