Hamdeok Beach - As you stroll along Jeju Olle Course 19, you’ll encounter Hamdeok Beach, renowned for its emerald waters. Situated in Hamdeok-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, it is also known as ‘Hamdeok Seoubong Beach’ due to Seoubong Peak standing adjacent to it. Just 20km from Jeju Airport, arriving here feels like stepping into another world. The entrance is lined with tall palm trees, and the emerald sea contrasts beautifully with the white sand. The clear water and white waves make even the sand and seaweed appear transparent. Among Jeju Island’s many beaches, Hamdeok Beach, along with Hyeopjae Beach and Gimnyeong Beach, is celebrated for its stunning sea color. The water is crystal clear and shallow, making it an ideal summer destination for families. An overpass on the west side of the beach allows visitors to walk over the sea.

Seongsan Ilchulbong - 성산일출봉 (Seongsan Ilchulbong)
Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone, a prominent landmark of Jeju, was formed approximately 5,000 years ago from an underwater volcanic eruption. It is particularly famous as a sunrise viewing spot, considered one of Jeju Island’s top ten scenic wonders. Besides the sunrise, Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone is also a fantastic trekking destination. The Seongsan-Ojo Trail connects two villages by crossing the peak, while the Jijil Trail offers a closer look at the UNESCO-designated geopark and Jeju’s local culture. Walking these trails is highly recommended to fully experience the area; reaching the summit provides views of the expansive volcanic crater and the surrounding blue ocean. To complete the visit, head to Seongsanpo Port to observe the haenyeo (female divers) in action. -
Gwangchigi Beach - 광치기 해변 (Gwangchigi Beach)
Gwangchigi Beach offers one of the most pristine and breathtaking views along Jeju’s coastline. In the distance, Seongsan Sunrise Peak, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, stands as a jewel of Jeju Island. The area features trendy cafes, restaurants, travel accommodations, and family-friendly activities like the Aquaplanet Aquarium. It is also where Olle walking trails 1 and 2 converge. -
Jeongbang Waterfall - 정방폭포 (Jeongbangpokpo Falls)
Seogwipo, encompassing the southern half of Jeju, enjoys abundant sunshine and warm temperatures, attracting tourists year-round. A popular attraction is Jeongbangpokpo Falls, one of Jeju Island’s top three waterfalls. The water cascades 23 meters straight down the cliff into a pool before flowing to the sea. Behind Jeongbangpokpo Falls, Waljong Art Gallery is located on the cliff. This gallery is dedicated to Korean artist Lee Wal Jong, who settled in Jeju decades ago. It showcases his inspiring artworks, capturing Jeju’s beauty in his unique style. The gallery’s strategic location and glass-walled second floor offer visitors a stunning view of the sea. -
Oedolgae - 외돌개 (Oedolgae)
Oedolgae, the starting point of Jeju Olle Trail Course 7, is a stone pillar rising 20m high from the sea. Standing alone, it is named ‘Oedolgae’. It is also referred to as ‘General Stone’ and ‘Grandma Rock’. Legend has it that General Choi Yeong adorned this rock like a general during a battle against the Yuan Dynasty, causing the enemy to self-destruct. The name ‘Grandma Rock’ has its own legend. Beyond the visible rocks, the life of Jeju’s people, who await the return of the sea’s bounty, can be observed.
