- Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road - Situated on the northwest side of Jeju Island, Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road is known for its distinctive offshore wind farm. The white windmills and emerald waters along the winding shoreline offer a refreshing autumn landscape and an eco-friendly way to generate electricity. This road is also one of the best spots to capture the sunset in Jeju, so don’t forget your camera! An Ecological Experience Center walking course is available along the coastal road, with an observation deck midway for resting and enjoying the view. A walk along Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road promises delightful memories and, of course, a photo or two!

Handam Coastal Trail - 한담해변 (Handam Beach)
Handam Beach stretches along the coastline from Aewol-ri Village, at the northwestern edge of Jejudo Island, to Gwakji Gwamul Beach. Created in 2001 as part of a coastline improvement plan by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, the beach offers islanders and tourists diverse opportunities to enjoy the ocean while harmonizing with the surrounding scenery. A 1.2km winding trail is paved along the beautiful coastline, designed to be as close to the ocean as possible. This popular spot allows visitors to enjoy a relaxing walk along the vast blue ocean. In July 2009, Jeju-si designated 31 sites representing Jejudo Island, and Handam Beach was chosen as one of these hidden gems. -
Yongmeori Coast - 용머리해안 (Yongmeori Coast)
Yongmeori Coast is named for its resemblance to a dragon diving into the ocean with its head raised (“Yong” means dragon and “Meori” means head in Korean). Yongmeori is a sandstone bed formed by layers of sand deposited over tens of millions of years. The coast’s mysterious scenery is awe-inspiring. At the foot of the coast is a Hamel Monument, established by the Embassy of the Netherlands and the Korean Foundation on April 1st, 1980, to strengthen diplomatic ties between Korea and the Netherlands and to honor Hendrick Hamel’s dedication and hard work. -
Songaksan Mountain - 송악산(Songaksan Mountain’s peak)
Songaksan Mountain features a cinder cone in the crater’s center and a tuff ring, with its peak, or mouth, having a depth of 69m and preserving its active form. Once known only to those with archaeological interests, it has recently become part of a popular tour course, with many narrow paths leading to it. Songaksan Mountain served as Japan’s forward operating base during its invasion of China and as a last line of defense during WWII’s final hours. Ruins of airfields, hangars, and anti-aircraft artillery are scattered throughout, with 15 coastal trenches below the cliff, some of which have naturally decomposed and pose falling hazards. The site holds high preservation value due to the cave built using the shore cliff and the trenches offering excellent oceanic views.
