Stop At: Seongsan Ilchulbong, 104 Seongsan-ri, Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo, Jeju Island, South Korea. Including the Women Diver Show, Seongsan Ilchulbong, also known as ‘Sunrise Peak’, is a classic tuff cone formed by hydrovolcanic eruptions on a shallow seabed around 5,000 years ago. Located on Jeju Island’s eastern coast, it resembles a massive ancient fortress. This tuff cone stands 182 meters tall, featuring a well-preserved bowl-like crater and diverse internal structures from the sea cliff.

Stop At: Sangumburi Crater is distinct from Jeju’s 360+ parasitic cones, as it wasn’t formed by accumulating erupted materials. Instead, it’s a maar-type parasitic cone, created as a crater with a hole when numerous materials were expelled. The inner area spans 300,000㎡, with an interior bottom circumference of 756m and an exterior circumference of 2,070m. Nearly vertical, the crater is about 130m tall, slightly larger and deeper than Hallasan Mountain. In autumn, the ridges of Sangumburi Crater turn golden with silvergrass, while planted cedar dominates the eastern and western slopes, surrounded by Sawtooth oak.
