- Western Wall - The most sacred site for Judaism in Jerusalem. The wall encircled the temple mount, where the first and second Jewish temples once stood. The first temple was destroyed in 586 B.C. by the Babylonian Army, and the second in 70 A.C. by the Romans. Thus, the Western Wall is among the holiest places worldwide for Jewish people. Jesus predicted Jerusalem’s destruction, as mentioned in Luke 19, 42, and 44.
- The Way of the Cross - Via Dolorosa - Part of this path can be seen from the 5th station leading to the church.
- Mount Zion - Traditionally recognized as the location of the Last Supper. Leonardo da Vinci famously depicted this scene in his fresco in Milan. Following this Last Supper with his disciples, Jesus was betrayed, arrested, and crucified.
- Garden of Gethsemane - Ancient olive trees remain from those that once covered the Mount of Olives during Jesus’ time. This is the site of the renowned betrayal, symbolizing treachery. It is also where Jesus was arrested.
- Church of the Nativity - The birthplace of Jesus in Bethlehem Yehuda. The magnificent church of Justinian from the 6th century is located at the manger site.
