Relax on a 30-foot bamboo raft along the renowned Great River. Each raft accommodates two people, with a combined weight limit of 500 lbs. The Great River serves as a primary water source for Montego Bay and its neighboring communities. Delight in a freshly cut jelly coconut, and be amazed by its taste. Local cuisine is available at a nearby cook shop (a “hole in the wall”) for an additional cost (optional). The menu typically features curried goat, pork, oxtail, and fried, curried, or brown stew chicken.
The rafting experience is expected to last between 60 to 90 minutes. All rafting concludes at the starting point, except in cases of high river conditions. High river conditions occur when the river level rises due to rain in other areas, making it unsafe to return to the starting point.

Climb aboard a 30-foot hand-crafted bamboo raft for a leisurely ride down the Great River. Listen to the rhythm of the river and hear the whisper of the trees. Immerse yourself in total relaxation and enjoy a limestone foot massage (with an option to upgrade to a full body massage) that will leave your skin silky smooth and rejuvenated by the limestone.
Your tour starts with pick-up, as your driver is also a tour guide who will provide details about Jamaica and its history (please ask if you are interested). Feel free to ask any questions as this is part of the Bamboo Rafting and Limestone Massage Experience.
