....Deep in the city - The vestiges of apartheid are very much present, but the Ubuntu spirit of Africa is very much alive. Poverty is real, but so is the community sharing and the care for children. The tour guide, Steven, was great. He knows the area and the people. He was a great guide. Learning about Hector Pieterson and the June 16, 1976 Youth Day Massacre -- visiting museum named for him and the Regina Mundi church -- were the highlight.

Feeds the soul, the eyes and the spirit. - Special from start to end. The booking was easy and seamless. Mo (our guide) made sure we were entertained and educated. His guidance came from the heart and his life experience made it all the more special. Highly recommend. I was initially drawn by the consistent 5 star ratings. Now understand why.

Amazing tour with an even more amazing guide - My wife and I had a great tour with Mo. Everything from start to finish was exceptional and he picked us up from our hotel lobby a little early, which was nice. The tour itself was super informative and interesting. We knew a little of some of what he mentioned but learning everything from a local and hearing more of the history was wonderful. He took amazing photos for us and answered any questions we had, plus made sure we were in good hands throughout. Johannesburg and Soweto can be a bit daunting and we were worried about that part going into things but Mo made sure we had a great trip and were well taken care of. The tour was great and he was amazing. Highly recommend!

Soweto in 4 hours - We had the pleasure of being guided through Soweto by Mo, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Mo’s deep knowledge of the area’s history, culture, and people added a powerful dimension to every place we visited. He shared stories with passion and authenticity, making complex and emotional topics accessible and engaging. His enthusiasm was contagious, and his respect for the community and its legacy was clear in every word and gesture. Whether we were visiting historical sites, learning about local life, or simply walking the streets, Mo made sure we felt welcome and informed.

Fantastic experience - My husband and I did the Soweto tour in late April. Our guide Tsholo was really knowledgeable and friendly! We came to Johannesburg on a day when the Apartheid Museum was unfortunately closed, but Tsholo was able to show us many other sides of Soweto, its culture and its history that we wouldn't have been able to see on our own. We had an awesome time and would definitely book this again.
