Wadi Rum Protected Area - At 03:00am your tour to Petra and Wadi Rum will start with a pick up from Tel Aviv and transfer to Arava Border on our comfortable, air conditioned bus. Border control and customs may take up to an hour, so your patience is appreciated.

At 09.15 you will reach Aqaba for a city tour, free time to explore the market and have lunch. At 13.00, you will be transferred to Wadi Rum where, after check in at the Bedouin camp and some free time, you will enjoy a sunset Jeep Tour of the stunning Wadi Rum reserve. After the Jeep tour, enjoy a buffet dinner included in the price of the tour. Overnight is at Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum. The standard accommodation is in double tent, with shared bathroom facilities. Petra Day

Petra - On day 2, after breakfast, you will be transferred to Petra, passing through a vast and comfortable highway (the “desert way”), following through a scenic route on the mountain side, and arriving at Petra’s historical site, known as one of the Seven Wonders Of The World.

At 09:30 the tour of Petra begins and covers the highlights of the UNESCO Heritage site. At 12:00, you will enjoy free time in the site, until return back to the border. At approximately 19:00, you will arrive to the border and return to Israeli territory with the assistance of your guide. Transportation back to Tel Aviv (drop off in Eilat or Jerusalem also available).

PLEASE NOTE. As border operating hours are currently reduced, the itinerary of the tour will be slightly changed. Petra will be visited on Day 1 (2h30’ guided tour + 2h30’ free time) followed by an overnight in Wadi Rum, and Wadi Rum jeep safari on Day 2. The tour will end in Tel Aviv at approximately 20:00 on Day 2.

• Border crossing fee of US$70 (230 NIS), which should be paid in cash or by credit card on the Israeli side, and the visa fee of $60, which should be paid in cash (USD or JOD) on the Jordanian side. No visa fee is required for stays of 2 nights or longer

• Modest clothing is recommended (no short skirts, low-cut shirts, or garments revealing the midriff), headscarves are not required
• Please bring your passport, sunscreen, sunglasses and hat, scarf, ATM card or cash, US Dollars or Jordanian Dinar for tips, and shoes suitable for walking
• Small delays can sometimes occur at the border, or at other points during the tour
• During Ramadan the tour itinerary will change due to earlier closure of the border
