Lawrence’s House - Lawrence’s House – A Key Landmark in Wadi Rum’s History. Originally constructed by the Nabataean civilization over 2,000 years ago, it served as a rest stop for caravans traversing the desert. Later, it became famous as Lawrence’s House, named after T.E. Lawrence, whose story inspired “Lawrence of Arabia.” A short climb to the top offers breathtaking views of the vast desert, with stone piles marking ancient Bedouin trails. The panoramic view of the endless desert plain provides incredible photo opportunities.

Wadi Rum Protected Area - Umm Fruth Rock Bridge – A Must-See in Wadi Rum. Standing at 15 meters high, it is the most famous bridge in Wadi Rum. Although not a historical site, it offers excellent photo opportunities. Hand your camera to your guide, who will capture an impressive shot of you atop the bridge. Locals easily navigate the bridge, but tourists may find the climb challenging. Fortunately, small holes have been carved into the rock to aid the ascent.
Wadi Rum Protected Area - Mushroom Rock – A Unique Formation in Wadi Rum. Wadi Rum boasts many fascinating rock formations, with Mushroom Rock being one of the most iconic. Its distinct shape, carved by centuries of erosion, resembles a mushroom. This unique rock is a fantastic photo spot and offers some shelter from the desert heat. Bedouins have used formations like this for centuries to seek refuge after long hours of travel under the scorching sun. Take a break and enjoy a delightful lunch amidst the desert surroundings. After lunch, continue the journey.
Wadi Rum Protected Area - Burdah Rock Bridge - At the top of Jabal Burdah, discover one of the world’s highest natural rock bridges. During the jeep tour, we stop nearby to admire the bridge from a distance. The total climb to the bridge can take up to 4 hours, which is not included in the jeep tour but can be booked via a hiking tour or upon request.

Wadi Rum Protected Area - Sunset Viewpoint - Wadi Rum is renowned for its breathtaking sunsets, and we know the best spots to watch them! We’ll take you to a secluded area where you can overlook the wide panoramic landscape as the sun sets, while we prepare some sweet Bedouin tea on the fire. Relax on the mattress or in the sand and take in all the beauty around you. Afterward, return to Hasan Zawaideh camp to enjoy a panoramic tent and a Zarab dinner.
