• Boy Scout Trail - Boy Scout Trail offers hiking access to Indian Cove and Willow Hole, an oasis nestled in the Wonderland of Rocks area. The rock formations and unique landscape create a captivating hiking experience, especially at certain times of the day.
• Hidden Valley - The Hidden Valley Trail is an easy one-mile loop encircling a secluded valley surrounded by towering rock formations. It’s a particularly scenic hike, given its short and level nature.
• Barker Dam Trail - Enjoy a short loop hike to a natural tank, fortified by ranchers in the early 1900s to collect rain and runoff for livestock. On the return, look out for petroglyphs and rock art.
• Wall Street Mill - An optional hike from the Barker Dam area leads to the Wall Street Mill, which processed ore from nearby mines. Along the way, explore the Wonderland Ranch homestead ruins.
• Keys View - Visit this scenic overlook offering a sweeping panorama of the Coachella Valley. On a clear day, the view extends for miles, from the Salton Sea to the south, to Mount San Jacinto towering above Palm Springs at 10,830 feet.
• Ryan Ranch Homestead Site - Take an optional short hike to this historic homestead site of a wealthy rancher turned mine operator.
• Hall of Horrors - Explore a mini slot canyon nestled among the boulders!
• Ryan Mountain - A challenging but optional hike to the summit of Ryan Mountain. Its central location within the park offers stunning views from the top.
• Skull Rock - Situated right along the road, Skull Rock is a natural rock formation and a popular photo spot.
• Split Rock - Another optional loop hike that sees less traffic than some other park sites.
• Arch Rock Nature Trail - A relatively easy and popular hike that allows you to visit two natural rock formations, Arch Rock and Heart Rock, in one trip.
