A very unique experience!... - A very unique experience! After all the walking, there’s nothing better than having a nice soak in the mineral baths at the onsen. If you’re a bit unsure about onsen etiquette, you’re given a flyer with a list of do’s and don’ts that are all very clear (and in my experience, people are generally helpful if you look a little lost in the onsen as well). I was recovering from a short bout of food poisoning and an hour spent in the baths (plus an hour long nap), had me feeling almost good as new!

The guide was very kind and the onsen was relaxing - I joined the Hiroshima Onsen Tour and was picked up at Hiroshima Castle, which was very convenient. The guide was friendly and explained everything clearly before we went to the hot spring. Since the guide was male, I entered the onsen by myself, but he showed me a detailed guide with materials about how to bathe and the etiquette, so I felt completely comfortable. The carbonated hot spring was at a perfect temperature and felt amazing. I was also surprised that the shower head pressure could be adjusted — a small but nice detail. The next morning, I noticed that I had slept very deeply. I usually wake up during the night, but this time I slept through and felt completely refreshed. It was a relaxing and unique Japanese experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hiroshima!

An incredible relaxing experience! - This was simply a full relaxing experience . What a gift! Kazuki, my guide picked me up and explained to me how Onsen baths work. The onsen we went to is located in the city. It has outdoor (highly recommended) and outdoor bath facilities. It also has a big sauna. Do not miss this opportunity to pamper yourself.

nice!! - This Hiroshima onsen tour was one of the best experiences during my trip to Japan. It was my first time visiting a Japanese hot spring, but the guide kindly explained the onsen rules and manners, so I could relax and enjoy it comfortably. The natural hot spring was so soothing, and the carbonated bath was amazing — the bubbles stick to your skin, which was a totally new and refreshing feeling for me! After the bath, I felt completely relaxed and refreshed. The guide also dropped me off at Hiroshima Station, which made everything super convenient. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing onsen experience in Hiroshima!

Almost gave up, very glad we didn’t - I requested cruise terminal pick up and the area was really confusing so I started texting the tour provider 40 minutes before scheduled pickup to try to find where he would be. No response, so we gave up 10 minutes after the start time and decided to do something else with our day. But then we found him on our way somewhere else! And he explained that he wasn’t really our guide, he was the guide’s brother, which is maybe why he didn’t get any of our messages and wasn’t standing with the rest of the tour guides? Anyway, we found him and were on our way. He didn’t speak English so we communicated by translator app. The onsen itself was really a special experience and everyone was very friendly and welcoming, we felt very at ease and not at all awkward or out of place. We were the only foreigners there, and all the local old ladies gave us big smiles so we felt we were in good company. There were lots of pools both indoors and outdoors, plenty of space and a nice sauna and cold plunge pool too. So 5* for the onsen and 2* for the guide. If you just have the address of the onsen I’m sure you can save a fortune by doing this solo, there was no additional information provided by the guide so it was basically just a taxi trip and someone to show you where to put your shoes. However, I’d like to believe the real guide is better, and I REALLY appreciate that he didn’t cancel. So four stars are deserved anyway because it was better to send the brother than no one at all!!!
