Under the guidance of the head priest, engage in Zen meditation, learn the proper way to pay your respects, and enjoy a friendly conversation that provides insight into temple life and Japanese spirituality.

Explore mizuhiki, the traditional decorative cord used in Japanese gift-giving, and try your hand at crafting your own beautiful design. Then, immerse yourself in the powerful rhythm of taiko—an art form deeply rooted in Japanese culture—by making your own drumsticks and playing the drums yourself.
