Great experience - Good combination of physical and informational. There was a good overview of the history of Kendo, philosophy, application, etc. We then did a few physical drills before donning the suits and applying all we learned.

Coach daichi is good. Turned in a lot of moves quickly in two hours... - The daichi coach was nice and quick to turn in a lot of moves in two hours, and the assistant brothers next to him were cute and couldn't speak English and would be very helpful. Considering that we are tourists just a short talk about the action, the kendo clothes all arrived very well! I also really played with the assistant professor and I won ha ha ha ha. It's been a great experience. It's worth it. If you're interested, you can come.

Amazing experience. If you are interested in Kendo, absolutely worth trying! - I had an amazing experience with the Kendo Spirit team! They are very professional and highly knowledgeable. Thanks to them, I learned about the history and philosophy of kendo, the basics of the art, and was able to practice in a few matches. I received a small gift at the end as well as photos and videos. I enjoyed the experience so much that I plan to continue pursuing kendo at home. Thank you, Daichi and Makoto for the awesome learning experience!

Fun kendo experience - The Kendo experience was both exciting and educational. I enjoyed every minute of it and learned a lot. The instructors were great, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in martial arts or Japanese culture!

Great experience and you get to duel with a Kendo master!! - This was a great learning and hands on experience. We did not just learn the physical part of kendo but also the spiritual and mental aspects of kendo. Our instructor Daichi, is young and energetic and still actively competing in tournaments. The bonus here is that you wear actual kendo gear (including the mask and body armor) vs something that is made more for a tourist experience. It was fast paced and by the end is the session we were facing off with Daichi in one on one duels. We would definitely recommend this activity as it both a good physical activity as well as something that is a unique part of the Japanese culture. We had the full attention of Daichi and Makoto, who both speak good English. It was also easy to get to in the Nihonbashi district and the facility was first rate.

Dual with a kendo master! - This was a great learning and hands on experience. We did not just learn the physical part of kendo but also the spiritual and mental aspects of kendo. We had the full attention of Daiichi and Makoto, who both speak good English, through out the session. Great Kendo Class! - The class was great! I learned a lot. The instructor gave a good background to the art of Kendo and described in depth the necessary moves and exercises.

Kendo class - The class was wonderful. We learned some basic moves and then translated that into some actual sword play. The instructors were fun and educational. I was nervous at first but became very comfortable
