- I highly recommend this experience with Ryo. In my case it was a one on one session. I never tried martial arts before this experience, but I learned a lot in just 90 minutes. For anyone with a background in yoga it is exciting to get introduced to martial arts. I had a great time and I feel we shared many ideas and a good workout.

Very good course with the... - Very good course with the appropriate pedagogy . Intense but not too much. We spend also some time to exchange after the course about cultural differences between the Japanese and French culture.

Great 1:1 karate session with Ryo Wakabayashi - former Japan champion - We are very thrilled with the 1:1 karate session Ryo provided for our son. After 2 years practicing karate, we wanted to focus the session on Kumite techniques and strategies. He was able to keep it engaging and entertaining while ensuring our specific requests were addressed. We were able to take lots of pictures and videos of the session and catch some of the bad habits our son acquired in the past. Now we have some homework to do and stuff to work on to improve. Thank you Ryo for a great session! Highly recommend it!

Great Experience! - Great lesson with a super friendly and knowledgeable instructor. I’ve had some boxing and traditional martial arts experience when I was younger, so we also had some good conversations on general combat arts. Ryo is the perfect example of a humble sensei who clearly knows his art and it was really interesting to know more about Karate. Went through basic stances, punching and kicking techniques, some pad work and then finished with some sparring techniques. Overall a great experience and I definitely recommend this to anyone who’s up for a nice workout and who’s interested in martial arts!

A new perspective on my karate training - Ryo was an excellent teacher with really good English. I have experience doing a different style of karate and he was able to customize the class to suit my level and offer a new perspective on my fighting skills. Working with him has improved my posture, stomach power and sparring skills.

Great Karate Class! - This was a very fun class, and I’m really glad I made this apart of my trip! Ryo clearly knew his craft and sought to teach the me the basics of stances, defending, and attacks. It was a good work out too, running through various exercises to get ready to train. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in Martial Arts while in Tokyo, or any visitor looking for something fun to try.

An authentic karate experience 🥋👌❤️ - Ryo is a great sensei. 🥋 He was dedicated and kind. He is fluent in English and communication was precise. We had some karate experience from before, but it seems that he would also do great with complete beginners. We wholeheartedly recommend his class. 👌

Karate lesson - Good experience with skilled instructor! Ryo adjusts the level of the Karate lesson to suit the participants. I would have liked even more tailored lesson as I still was lacking the mobility to perform some kicks.
