Seru Banget! Making Wagashi and Learning Tea Ceremony - I went to the tea ceremony and made the wagashi at the BUB Activity Center and it was so cool! The sensei is good and educated in a relaxed way, so not nervous at all. I also used to wear a kimono, feeling the Japanese vibe, really calm and zen. Perfect for those who want to try tea ceremonies without feeling too formal or ribbed. It is also very friendly for families and children, there are many other activities options as well. If you're on vacation in Japan and want to try something different, you should come here! I know English too ☺️

✨ A Truly Enchanting Japanese Tea Ceremony Experience ✨ - I just had the most magical experience participating in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony—and even got to make my own wagashi (Japanese sweets)! Our host Lisa was amazing, extremely kind, and patient. She guided us through each movement with such care and intention, making the ritual feel both sacred and welcoming. The atmosphere was peaceful and immersive—every gesture, every silence held meaning. Creating wagashi was a delight in itself! The craftsmanship that go into these sweets are incredible. It was both fun and meditative to shape them by hand, and the taste? The semi-sweet dessert was absolutely divine paired with the rich, earthy matcha. This experience gave me a deeper appreciation not only for tea, but for the artistry and philosophy behind Japanese hospitality. If you ever have the chance to attend a tea ceremony in Japan—go. It’s an unforgettable journey into tradition, beauty, and tranquility. 🌿🍵🍡 I had such an amazing experience that I’d love to come back to BUB Activity center to try all of the others. I highly recommend this place!

It was like feeling Japanese culture while wearing kimono. - There were sets of silk kimonos to choose from & wear. While wearing the kimono of my choice they allowed me to go out for 30 minutes to enjoy it while sightseeing.
