Kimonos in the "Venice of Toyama" - This Kimono experience is right in what they called "The Venice of Toyama". It's a unique area to wear and take pictures in a Kimono. The area feels like a rural town around a canal with many townhome style buildings instead of individual houses, making it visually stunning. The ladies who help you pick and put on the Kimono are all very friendly. The building itself has a nice traditional feel with a little open garden in the center of it. Something you don't see back in the States. They also include a matcha tea ceremony experience where they teach you how it's done and why! Overall was a great time, just make sure to check the weather before going. Would recommend, and love to go back with more friends.

Kimono Experience - This is a unique taste of Japanese culture for those who would wish to experience Japan. The hospitality from the ladies is amazing and every process is explained in English. You also get to know of obi, tabi socks and zori sandals worn with kimono. I must admit that I had a hard time making a choice of kimono since each one of them has a unique blend of attraction. The ladies exercised a lot of patience for that before helping in putting on the kimono. You also get to experience the tea ceremony process, taste Japanese sweets and take lots of picture in several places with the kimono. Whether you are looking for a solo tour or one with your family and friends, this is a go to place that I highly recommend.

It is one the best memories and the best way to experience the true Japanese culture. - If you are interested in visiting a Japanese traditional house and you are looking for a wonderful and fun experience to wear a kimono, please come to this place. It is located close to a river, where later after putting on the kimono you can take a stroll and take some stunning pictures. The ladies owning the store are extremely friendly and welcoming. They will take time to help you select a kimono and then it will take about 15-20 min to put it on. We also had the opportunity to enjoy a small tea ceremony while wearing the kimono. During the tea ceremony the cute Japanese ladies explained in English the correct way to eat the small dessert and drink green tea. We loved the experience and the atmosphere was excellent.
