• Jurmala Open-Air Museum - The Jūrmala Open-Air Museum offers an engaging experience to explore the lifestyle of fishermen from the early 20th century. Visitors can board two genuine fishing boats, participate in a rope-making workshop, and tour authentic fishermen’s homes. On Thursdays during the summer, around noon, the museum delights food enthusiasts with fish-smoking events. Local fishermen demonstrate traditional fish-smoking techniques and invite guests to sample the results.
• Jurmala Beach - Jūrmala Beach has long been a hub of social activity. In the 19th century, ladies with parasols strolled along the promenades, while the 1960s saw the white sands transformed into a vibrant display of bikinis and towels. Today, capturing selfies against the backdrop of a stunning sunset is popular. The social scene in Jūrmala has always had two facets: the locals and the summer visitors. Each group enjoys the beach differently. Locals typically avoid the beach during midday, preferring early morning or late evening walks or jogs. Holidaymakers, however, enjoy the beach from midday until sunset.

Currently, Jūrmala boasts 11 developed swimming areas along its beach, with five (Jaunķemeri, Dzintari, Bulduri, Majori, and Dubulti) earning Blue Flag certification in 2015. This certification indicates adherence to high standards of environmental sustainability, water quality, and beach management. The swimming areas are also accessible to individuals with special needs.

• Viewing Tower by Architect Bureau ARHIS - ARHIS Architects, a Latvian firm, has completed the Observation Tower in Jurmala, located within Dzintaru Park in Jurmala, Latvia. The 38-meter tall structure features an open-air cage that provides filtered views of the surrounding nature reserve.
• Jomas Street - Jomas Street is one of the oldest and most central streets in Jūrmala, featuring restaurants, summer terraces, hotels, and cafés with live music. The street’s name in Latvian refers to parallel lines in the sand dunes.
• Kemeri National Park - The 3 km long Ķemeri Moorland footbridge offers an opportunity to explore a pristine raised moss marsh at Ķemeri National Park. The bog, with its network of elongated small lakes, is one of the most scenic locations in Latvia.
