A whale of a time! - This was the perfect whale watching tour for us. TJ and Allen did a great job of helping us learn about the whales and the Juneau ecosystem. We were able to see many humpbacks and orcas, mothers and calves of both as well. The boat was fantastic - set up so that we could walk all around the exterior to view wherever whales were spotted. Juneau Whale Tours is the bomb!

The best Whale watching tour in Juneau - What a great experience from the time Cedar picked us up from our cruise ship. Cedar had a lot of knowledge to impart. We were met at the dock by Alan who was to be our marine expert for the day. The we met TJ our skipper for the day who was phenomenal. We saw humpback whales and also Orcas. A whale surfaced not far from the boat and put on a great display for us. We were lucky as we had a beautiful day. Thank goodness we booked a small boat tour and not one of the cruise boat tours. We were able to walk around the entire outside of the boat so it was easy to follow the whales. An amazing operator who has put together a great crew. TJ was able to put the boat in the right places and was areal character who made the trip extra special. Thanks guys if we come back to Juneau you will be top of our list.

It was amazing. The 2... - It was amazing. The 2 men in charge of this trip were incredible. They obviously love what the are doing which made it all the more enjoyable. We will be telling everyone about this trip. We will definitely do this again. Thank you so much again.

MUST DO--Juneau Whale Tours (JWT) - The JWT small tour group (20 person max) allowed for an enjoyable experience--no crowding and everyone could see. All were encouraged to ask the crew questions and everyone had plenty of time to interact not only with the crew, but with other group members as well.
The vessel, Corvus, was very comfortable, spacious, and clean--exceptionally designed for wildlife touring on the water. The views were excellent inside the climate controlled cabin, and were especially outstanding on the 360° outside wraparound deck. I didn't need the restroom, but it was a comfort to know that one was available on board.
The crew (TJ, Josh, Sara, and Cedar) were all warm, engaging, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. It was obvious that they knew their waters and the habits of all the whales and other wildlife quite well--we saw and photographed many Humpback Whales and even got glimpses of the very fast Dall's Porpoise! The Harbor Seals and otters were showing off in the water, and the eagles and ravens gave an air show, too. Unfortunately, the Orcas seemed to have our Thursday off...
Overall this was an excellent experience (and I've been on many whale-watch excursions in California, Hawaii, and Mexico over the years). We were on the water a little longer than 2.5 hours and yet the time went by so fast--we were having so much fun.
My wife, Beth, and I would love to visit Alaska again sometime, and we'll definitely do this JWT excursion again next time we return to Juneau!

The BEST tour with the BEST crew! - If y’all are looking for a whale watching tour in Juneau, look no further than JWT! My family and I had the best time, saw lots of whales and even some sea pandas! The 360 deck allows you unlimited views, which was such a benefit to my husband who’s a photographer.
In addition to the spectacular whale watching and scenery, the crew made this experience phenomenal. Very knowledgeable, informative, and with dad-jokes galore.
Don’t hesitate on booking this tour- you will have a blast!

Great experience, great boat and crew. - Excellent outing. The crew was wonderful and the boat itself is perfect for whale watching. It has a walkway on the exterior that goes all the way around. Everyone is able to have great viewing without being on top of each other. We also had a beautiful sunny day and got appropriately close to humpbacks and orcas. Highly recommended!

First Cruise to Alaska - They were Very Entertaining and showed us Many Sights. Our Guide Lina was Very Funny and attentive to Everyone. We Would Definitely Recommend this Experience to Anyone in the Ketchican area!! My Wife and I Loved it and would Definitely do it again!!

Fantastic experience - We loved our tour!! Andrew and TJ took us out and found so many whales for us. The boat is great!! We loved being able to wrap around and not get crowded. Everyone had plenty of room to see and take pictures and videos. Communication is fantastic. The guys were very funny work really hard. If we come back to Juneau we will absolutely choose them again, no question.

One of the real highlites! - Its really nice when you get to see whales on a whale watch and this tour did not dissapoint. The pickup point was easy and our driver was waiting. Got on the boat after a short ride and the captain took us to several spots where we saw many humbacks as well as some sea lions. I highly recommend this tour

Terrific experience……. - Great guides and wonderful experience. Saw whales and eagles. Enjoyed being out on the water in the beautiful sunshine. Afterward, a delicious crab luncheon with wonderful food and servers.
